Chapter 45

Once you'd both gotten dressed in skinny jeans and t-shirts you went back outside. "I can't believe you did all of this for me," you said, leaning onto his shoulder.

"Believe it," he said, "I even borrowed Siva's phone for music."

"You still haven't gotten your new one yet, have you?" You asked with a smirk.

"Nope," he laughed as you both laid down, looking at the sky. You held his hand, laying on top of the blanket. The lights Jay set up were illuminating you two, making it seem more romantic.

He passed you a sandwich and you laughed a bit. "Let me guess, Max made these?" You asked with a smirk.

"Yup," he said, smiling.

"You put a lot into this, thank you so much," you said with a smile, pecking him on the cheek.

"No problem," Jay said.

'Ordinary People' by John Legend came on and Jay offered you a hand as you stood up. "Wanna dance?" He asked.

"I'd love to," you said, putting your hand in his as he put his other on your waist. Jay stumbled slightly and you laughed as he blushed.

"I got you," you said as you moved back and forth with him, dancing to the chorus of the song. You rested your head on his chest and hummed along.

You danced with Jay as he kissed the top of your head. His arms were around you, making you feel safe. "I love you Jay," you whispered. Everything felt perfect in that moment.

"I love you too," he said as he rested his head on yours.

Once the song ended you stood there for a while, in Jay's arms. He lifted your head up and kissed you gently, all of the love he had for you had shown through his eyes the entire night, and now through the kiss. You pulled away from him and just stared into his eyes for what seemed like an eternity.

Nathan was watching you through the window in his room. He let a traitor tear escape his eye and sighed. He couldn't bare to look anymore, you two were absolutely perfect. He laid down on bed with his head in his hands, humming 'Almost Is Never Enough'.

Downstairs, everyone else was watching you two outside. Siva was recording the whole thing for tomorrow's interview, they needed to know how much you two loved each other. Kelsey and Nareesha were restraining their "aww's."

"They're so perfect together," Nareesha said, a happy tear escaping her eye.

"Wonder how Nath's feeling," Tom muttered.

"I don't know, I haven't seen him since we left this afternoon," Kelsey said, not taking her eyes off of you two.

Tom walked upstairs to see Nath. He listened in before opening the door. He was humming something, a song. "Almost Is Never Enough?" Tom asked as he walked inside. Nathan nodded his head, still laying on his bed. "So I guess you saw everything then." Tom said.

"They're perfect. More perfect that we would've ever been," Nathan mumbled.

"That's not true Nath..." Tom whispered, sitting next to him on his bed.

"Of course it is." Nathan said, "did you see them?"

"Yeah...I did see them." Tom said.

"They're absolutely made for each other." Nathan said, close to tears.

Tom sighed, not knowing what to do or say for him, he was never one for words. "I'm sorry mate..." He whispered.

Nathan started singing something softly. There was always a song for every situation, and that's what helped Nathan with everything. "Do all the things I should've done...when I was your man," he sang softly.

"Nathan, I just don't want to see you hurt like this. You can't wait for her forever, she might be long gone before you even realize it." Tom mumbled.

"I can't move on when I know there's no one else out there." Nathan said.

"But you don't know that. There could be someone out there, someone who'll love you forever and a half and you'd do the same and you wouldn't even know because you're still stuck over her." Tom said.

"Where is she then? Love is supposed to find you when you're lost. I'm so lost, I don't know what to do. Where is love when you need it?" Nathan whispered.

"It's out there. The only problem with you is that you haven't gone out and let it find you because you're moping around all day at home." Tom said.

Nathan groaned and faced away from Tom. "Leave me alone, Tom," he mumbled.

"Fine. I'll leave you alone. The one person who's trying to help you and you won't even let me try. Just don't do anything stupid tomorrow because you'll regret it. Goodnight Nathan." Tom said, getting up and slamming the door behind him. Nathan stared at the door, feeling horrible for treating Tom like that.

Tom went downstairs and grabbed a beer. He then joined everyone else who were still watching you two outside.

Jay kissed you again, and you practically melted into his embrace. You sat down and climbed into his lip, wrapping your legs around him and kissing him again. "I think I know what will make tonight better..." Jay said, gently taking you off of his lap and going to the picnic basket. You smiled insanely when he pulled out your favorite dessert.

"Thanks Bird! How'd you know it was my favorite?" You asked incredulously. He then opened up the cake, cutting you a slice. "Tiramisu is the best," you said, eating it. You had some frosting on your nose which Jay wiped away, laughing a little.

"You know...I think I know a way to make it even better..." You said, biting your lip. You grabbed a handful of the cake and smashed it into Jay's face.

He looked at you in shock. "You little shit!" He said, slamming cake in your face. You grabbed some more cake and started throwing some at him, running away before he could tackle you. He eventually caught up to you and tackled you to the ground, pinning you down. He then leaned down and licked some off of your cheek.

"You're right, tiramisu cake is the best," he said with a laugh.

He kissed you and you smiled into the kiss. He lowered himself down, so he was touching you but not crushing you. Your hands went to the back of his neck, pulling him closer to you. He slipped his tongue in and deepened the kiss. You flipped him over so that you were dominating him, deepening the kiss, swirling your tongue around his. He moaned a bit and picked you up as you wrapped your legs around him, your heels digging into his skin. He moaned into your mouth, turning you on. He then carried you over to the house.
