You woke early the next morning and wriggled out of Jay's embrace, going to check the mail. It was mostly all the normal stuff, except for one thing that was addressed to you. You saved that for later. You also saw a magazine and read the front cover. It was a picture of Nathan calming you down in the car. "Sykes getting intimate with ex in front of her new boyfriend?" Read the headline.

"Fucking god!" You yelled, opening the door to the house.

"What's wrong?" Siva whispered, awake and getting ready for Stevie Wonder.

You threw the magazine at him, landing on his lap. "Read the headline," you said, clearly pissed off.

Siva read it and then looked back at you. "It's just rumors." He said.

"But still. If people read that they're going to think that I'm cheating on Jay. Do you realize how bad that looks on me?" You said.

"Tweet something about it then." Siva said.

"Okay..." You said. "How do you always know what to do, Seev?"

"I don't know," he said, smiling. "I'm just calm about it."

You hugged him and sent out a tweet that said "Don't believe everything you read in that magazine. Nath was just calming me down after a pap called me something bad."

You turned off your phone and went back to that letter, curious on what was inside. You opened it slowly and read it. "Oh my god..." You said, your hand flying over your mouth.

"What is it?" Siva asked.

"Read it," you said, petrified on what was written on the letter. Siva took the letter and read it. It was from the police department.

"We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we would like you to testify against Veronica Hastings for her attempts in murder of you and poisoning of James McGuiness. Please respond as soon as possible if you are willing to testify.

Sincerely, The Los Angeles Police Department."

"Holy shit." Siva said, "are you going to do it?"

"I have to, I'm just extremely scared to. If she goes to jail and ends up getting released after, I think she's going to come after us..." You said.

"Shhh love it'll be fine," Siva said, hugging you, "how about we worry about Stevie first, and then this?" You quickly nodded your head and decided to tell everyone about this after Stevie performed.

Jay stumbled into the room half asleep and saw the magazine. "Freaking paps," he muttered.

"I dealt with it," you said, kissing his cheek. "Now, how are we going to distract Nath so Stevie and his people can set up?" You asked.

"We can take him out," Siva said.

"Who should do that?" You asked.

"All of us lads. Say you girls are doing a day to yourselves here and that we gotta get out of the house," Jay suggested.

"Well Seev is the only one who has spoken to Stevie, so he should stay." You said.

"Okay," Siva said in agreement.

"He's coming at six though...so you need to clean this place up," Jay said. "And what's our cover for Seev not coming with the boys?"

"Nareesha begged him to stay," you said.

"Sounds good," Jay said, "we'll let her know so she can publicly beg."

"Okay," you said.

A few moments later, Nareesha came downstairs. "Baba, how come you didn't wake me up?" She asked.
