Almost Is Never Enough

Chapter 63

Jay went over to Siva. "Hey Seev, can you do me a favor?" He asked.

"Yeah. What is it?" Siva asked.

"Do you mind playing guitar while I sing her this?" He asked awkwardly.

"Sure mate," Siva said, smiling.

Jay and Siva walked into the kitchen where you were reading more tweets. You were drinking your tea, a bit sadly. Siva then started playing his guitar and you looked up at them, surprised. "What?" You asked, confused.

Jay smiled at you. He then started singing the song he had written for you.

"My angel came down from her place down in heaven and slain all my demons from hell

And it took her sometime to notice my lovin' but maybe that is just as well," he sang. You smiled at him as he continued to sing.

"She lifts me up I don't wanna let her down if I'm blinded by the city lights

She'll bring me back to town angel, you are my angel, you are my bright light on a dark night

My beacon in the storm

Yes angel, ooooh baby you are my angel, you're my rope to hold onto, who my heart belongs to

My fire to keep me warm." He continued.

You let out a few tears but quickly brushed them away from how beautiful it was.

"And though it took you some time I was still on cloud 9 'cause baby you're all that I need

And maybe one day when this storm fades away, you'll find me down on one knee," Jay sang, taking your hand. Siva stopped playing his guitar and smiled at you both.

"I haven't finished writing it yet, but I thought it was the right time to show you the song," Jay said, cheekily smiling.

You kissed him. "It's perfect, Jay," you whispered. He kissed you back and you wrapped your arms around his neck. Everyone was watching from the window outside and were cheering and clapping. "I love you," you whispered.

"I love you more," he whispered back. "It's not as good as Nath's, but...it's for you," Jay said.

"I still love it because it was from you," you said. He kissed you again, you kissing him back. You slowly broke apart from him and hugged him. "Thank you so much, Jay," you whispered.

"Like I said, you deserve everything you can dream of," Jay said with a smile. You hugged him again. You turned your phone off and smiled at him. "You're not going to read anymore of those bad tweets, okay?" Jay said, putting his hands on your cheeks.

"Okay," you said, nodding. He pulled you into his lap and kissed you, smiling into it.

"Awwww," Nareesha and Kelsey said. You broke apart from Jay and rested your head on his shoulder, smiling at Kelsey and Nareesha.

"So...laser tag?" Max said.

"Okay Maxxie, just don't get upset when I beat your ass," you joked.

"He'll dream about it..." Tom joked. You gave him a death glare as Kelsey slapped him arm. "Sorry!" He said.

"You should be," you said as you saw Max mouth, "thank you."

Jay kissed your head. "Let's get ready, perfect," he said.

You blushed a little. "Alright let's go, sexy," you said, taking his hand and going upstairs. You hugged him once more when you got to your room. He hugged you back and rested his head on top of yours. He let you go, and you got changed.
