Almost Is Never Enough

Chapter 134

The next morning Jay woke up early and decided to carry your sleeping body downstairs so he could hold you while he watched TV. You woke up a few minutes later. "Jay...?" You asked, wiping your eyes as you woke up.

"Morning beautiful," he smiled, "I didn't want to be without you."

You smiled at him and laid your head against his chest, breathing in his scent. "You're really beautiful," he whispered.

"Stop it," you mumbled into his chest, blushing.

"Stop what?" He asked.

"Making me blush like an idiot," you said.

He smiled. "But you're so cute when you blush," he said.

You lifted your head and pecked him on the lips. "You're such a cheeky git," you said.

"Part of my charm," he said.

"I like your charm," you smiled. He bit his lip and then kissed you.

"You two are just so absolutely in love," Nareesha said.

You blushed again. "Did you take pictures for your blog already?" Jay joked.

"No, my phone is upstairs," she sighed.

"Oh darn," Jay laughed, kissing your temple.

"Jay, you made the right decision, telling her how you feel," Nareesha said.

"I know. I'm glad I did," Jay said, kissing you gently. You kissed him back, caressing his cheeks.

"God I wish I had my phone right now," Nareesha said.

You pulled away from him, neither of you able to keep the smile off your cheeks. Jay wrapped his arms around you and you melted into him. "Alright you two lovebirds, stay here and I'll make breakfast," Nareesha said.

"Can we go out today?" You asked him.

"Of course," Jay said.

"Starbucks?" You asked.

"What's the magic word?" Jay teased.

"Sex," you winked.

"I was gonna say please, but that works too," Jay winked.

"Oh well," you smiled. Jay then got up. "Carry me?" You asked sweetly. He rolled his eyes and carried you upstairs as you both got changed.

He carried you back downstairs into the kitchen. You both grabbed a waffle, eating it raw. "You're not gonna wait 'till they're cooked?" Nareesha said.

"Eh, not important," you said.

"We're going out for Starbucks again, see ya," Jay said.

"Alright then, bye," Nareesha said as you both left the flat.

Jay carried you to the car and started driving to Starbucks. You turned on the radio like you always did. Jay reached over and turned the volume up. "Wake Me Up" by Avicii was playing and you both sang along loudly.

"Feeling my way through the darkness

Guided by a beating heart

I can't tell where the journey will end

But I know where to start

They tell me I'm too young to understand

They say I'm caught up in a dream
