Almost Is Never Enough
Chapter 96
The next morning you woke up smiling like crazy. You couldn't get Jay out of your head. You lifted your head to meet Jay's and pecked his lips. "Morning love. Someone's happy," he mumbled.
"Of course I'm happy," you smiled, resting your head against his chest and listening to his heartbeat.
"Play a song that describes you right now," Jay whispered.
You smiled and pulled out your phone, playing Teenage Hearts by Allstar Weekend. Jay laughed and smiled at you. "I, I am in love, so much in love, I am in love with you," you both sang along to the cheesy, yet sweet song.
"You are afraid, you pushed me away, you are afraid you loved me too," you both sang.
"You're not afraid are you, Jay?" You asked.
"Never," he said, kissing you.
"Good, because I'm not afraid of loving you at all," you said.
Jay smiled genuinely. He couldn't be happier. The girl he loved, loved him back. Finally. Only now he was completely sure. Jay pulled you in for a gentle, but passionate kiss. You smirked at him and stood up, looking through your twitter. "Nothing like waking up to @JayTheWanted" you tweeted.
"Do we have to get up, love?" Jay asked, covering himself up with a blanket.
"Yes Jay, be a man," you said.
"I am a man, just a lazy one," Jay said, making you laugh. Your phone exploded with notifications again.
"Awwwwww."
"I swear she's the best thing that's happened to him."
"He's barely tweeted about anything but her, and all of the pics and vids of them are ADORABLE!"
"I can't even. The cuteness runs high."
You smiled at all of the tweets and followed some of the accounts. "Come on, lazy bird," you said, turning off your phone.
"No!" He protested.
"Pwease?" You begged like a child, putting on your best puppy dog eyes.
"I hate you," he said, getting up with his blankets still wrapped around him.
"No, you love me!" You said, giving him a cheeky smile.
"Fine, you're right," he said, kissing you. He let go of all his blankets and picked you up, running to the car. He laid you down on the backseat and climbed on top of you. "I've always wanted to do this," he said as he leaned in and kissed you gently, but passionately. You smiled into the kiss and pushed him closer to you. "You're perfect," he mumbled against your lips.
"So are you," you said, kissing him again. You then heard the click of a camera. You looked up to see Kelsey standing there. "Really Kels?" You said.
"Nareesha isn't the only one who has a fanpage," Kelsey said.
Jay groaned. "Hey! I just wanted to use the car! Not my fault 'that' was happening in the back seat," she said.
Jay rolled his eyes at her as you both left the car. "Hey! It's a cute picture!" She called after you.
"Well duh. She's in it," Jay said. You laughed and hit his chest lightly, blushing. "Don't blush when it's true, lovely," Jay said.
You rolled your eyes and walked into the house with Jay. "I should probably put a bra on before Max sees me," you whispered. Jay nodded and let you go upstairs by yourself as he made breakfast.
