Almost Is Never Enough

Chapter 133

Jay eventually walked in through the front door, seeing you and Nathan on the couch cuddling. He was hiding something behind his back. "Hey lovely," he smiled.

"Hey bird! Watcha hiding?" You smirked, getting up to kiss his cheek.

"Just a little something," he said, pulling a bouquet of flowers out from behind his back.

"They're beautiful!!!" You gasped, hugging him, "you didn't have to..."

"I know, but I wanted to," Jay said, hugging you back. You stood on your tiptoes and kissed him.

He kissed you back, smiling into it. "So nice to be home," he mumbled against your lips.

"You were only gone a few hours," you said.

"Feels like forever without you, beautiful," he said. You instantly melted into him and he kissed your temple. "How'd your day with Nath go?" He asked.

"It went well," you said.

He wrapped his arms around your waist. "That's good lovely," he smiled brightly. You laid your head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat and breathing in his scent. "Lovely, everyone is staring," he whispered.

"I don't care," you mumbled into his chest. You heard the snap of a camera and subsequently groaned. "Really Nunu???" You said.

"Sorry," she said meekly. "Couldn't help it."

"Go ahead, put it on your blog," Jay joked, kissing your cheek.

"Well it's now on twitter," Nareesha said.

You checked your phone, finding her tweet. "These kids... <3" was the caption.

You rolled your eyes at her and turned off your phone, sitting down on the couch with Jay. Without thinking or caring, you straddled his waist and started making out with him reverently. "Let's play a game so we don't have to watch this gag story," Max said.

"Leave us alone Max," Jay said before kissing you again.

Feeling bashful all of a sudden, you pulled away. "Fine, what game?" You asked.

"Doesn't matter, just don't want to see you two at it on the couch," Max said.

"You already ruined the counter," Tom laughed.

"What???" Nathan asked.

You and Jay glared at Tom. He wasn't supposed to say anything. "Fuck," he mumbled, looking scared.

"What happened?" Nathan asked.

"Nothing..." Tom said.

"Tell me," Nathan insisted.

"It's nothing Nath," Jay said.

"Why won't you tell me?" He asked.

"It's nothing you want to know, trust me," Siva said.

"Why wouldn't I want to know? And how come everyone knows except me?" Nathan asked.

"Nath, give it up, you don't want to know," Kelsey said.

"Fine," Nathan muttered, slightly angry.

"Nath, it's for the best," you said.

"Sure, whatever," Nathan mumbled.

"I have a game," Max said, changing the topic.

"Well what is it?" Siva asked.

"It's sorta like truth or dare, except it's all dares and every time you don't do a dare you have to answer 5 truths," Max said.
