Almost Is Never Enough
Chapter 48
"Hey guys, Ryan Seacrest here and we're interviewing with none other than The Wanted!" Ryan said, introducing them. "And I see we have a guest."
You blushed once he mentioned you. "We're all gonna find out what's happened over the past few weeks and what's happening now. To start off the interview, I see you two have been holding hands, doing all that couple stuff since you've gotten here. Care to explain?" Ryan asked you and Jay.
"Right...well..." Jay began to explain everything that happened. All of the lads helped explain, including Nathan.
"Wow. So I see you've made you're decision then, am I right?" Ryan asked.
"Yeah," you said shyly.
"I was in a bad place before I met her," Jay said, "but even when she was with Nath, she was helping me, curing me. And now that we're together I haven't even thought of cutting myself. Honestly, she's the reason I'm even alive."
"And I'm happy you are. It's clear to me she makes you extremely happy. The Wanted would never be the same without you, Jay." Ryan said with a smile. "So Nathan, how has this affected you? It probably wasn't easy on you to let her go." Ryan asked.
Nathan sighed and bit his lip. "To be honest, it killed me. But I really just want her to be happy, with or without me. I love her and always will. And if things don't work out, I'll be waiting for her, with a ring. But they're honestly perfect for each other, so I don't think that will happen." Nathan said, looking away so no one would see his sad expression.
"And why not? Is there something wrong with them being together? I mean she's keeping Jay alive." Ryan asked.
"There's nothing wrong with them being together. Absolutely nothing. They belong with each other," Nathan said.
"Well then what is wrong? When you explained how you felt about this whole situation you looked a little sad about it." Ryan said.
"Well...I guess I'll always be a little sad about it, but it's resolved now. I have to move on," Nathan said.
"Alright then. Well looks like we have a little video for your fans, something about you and Jay," Ryan said, looking at you two.
"Yeah. We do," you said, smiling.
The video started playing and you leaned into Jay a little. It showed you two outside dancing to 'Ordinary People' and kissing each other every now and then. A few minutes later you two were eating cake and you smashed it into Jay's face. He had chased you around the lawn before pinning you down and kissing you. The video ended there and everyone smiled.
"That was just adorable." Ryan said with a smile. "I hope things between you and Jay work out because that just showed you two are very happy together. Carrying on...what was the funniest thing that's happened lately?"
Everyone looked at Max, who was blushing. "Max, is there something you'd like to tell us?" Ryan asked.
"I'll tell you!" Jay said, "Max sent everyone a video he shouldn't have and my lovely girlfriend beat him up."
Max's face was flushed red. "And how exactly did she beat him up? She looks so small and innocent!" Ryan said with a laugh.
"It was a well calculated kick to the balls," Tom said, laughing.
"Don't be talking, Parker! She did the same to you!" Max said.
Everyone was laughing now, including Ryan. "Looks like someone isn't as innocent as I thought," Ryan said, trying not to laugh.
