Almost Is Never Enough

Chapter 117

You paid for your room and ran inside, tears falling down your face. "I have to stop. This can't keep happening. I have to go."

You looked at yourself in the mirror. "I hate you," you whispered, "you're horrible."

You collapsed on the ground and bawled your eyes out. You wanted to scream, run, anything to make you feel better or get away from your troubles. Your phone was beeping with texts from Nathan and Max, probably asking where you were. You didn't answer and continued crying. "I have to go," you kept saying to yourself. "I don't deserve their kindness. But not tonight..." You decided, "I will NOT be drunk when I go, and I will NOT be wearing this." You thought. You couldn't stop bawling. You were shaking from how hard you were crying.,

You then got a text from Jay.

Jay: Lovely where are you?!?!?

You looked at the message, worried. "You shouldn't be worried about someone as awful as me," you thought.

You: I'm fine. Don't worry about me, Jay. I just want to be alone

Jay: Lovely please just come home. I miss you. We can work it out.

You: I don't deserve you. I hurt you AGAIN. I'm sorry Jay, but it's for the best. I don't want to hurt you anymore. I'll love you forever<3

Jay: No lovely no!!!!! You're only hurting me by leaving me!!! Please don't hurt yourself!!! I love you so much!!!

You cried harder at the new text. You decided to type two final words to him and anyone else.

You: I'm sorry

With that you ran over to the toilet and threw up everything, until you were left shaking and crying. "I'm done. I'm just so done," you whispered through sobs.

Your whole world was spinning, and you were shaking violently. You went back over to the toilet and forced yourself to throw up again. You found your phone and managed to tweet: "@JayTheWanted I'm sorry...I love you."

You checked through the hotel cabinets, managing to find a complimentary bottle of aspirin. "I don't know if I can wait much longer," you said, as you struggled to get the pill bottle opened.

You grabbed a pen, and wrote on your forearms. "I'm in love with you" and "Forever & Always" A message for each of the boys that you had hurt so much. To everyone else, you wrote on your thigh "I'm sorry that I have caused you so much pain."

You then tried to get the cap off of the pill bottle and failed. You screamed and threw it against the wall. "LET ME LEAVE GODDAMMIT!" You yelled. You cried even harder. "Just let me leave..." You whispered.

*Meanwhile with Jay*

He stared at his phone in shock. Jay put his head in his heads and started to bawl erratically. Nathan took his phone and saw the message, his eyes widening. "Jay, stop crying! We have to find her!!!!" He yelled.

"Where though?!? Where could she go?!? I don't know where she is!!!" Jay said through his sobs.

"Call the police!!!" Nathan said, "tell them the license number! Maybe they can track her down! Do something!!!!"

Jay nodded, though he couldn't stop crying. "You have to do it. I just can't," Jay said as he broke down again.

Nathan took out his phone and dialed the number. "Hello?" He said, softly crying, "the most beautiful girl is about to kill herself..." He continued to describe the car and the texts and you and everything he could. Nathan ended the call as the police said they would go out and find you immediately.
