"Hey, hit us up with two fizz cocktails!" A woman called, an arm around her friend.

"Got it!" You replied, lifting up two glasses from the shelf. With the distilled drink, you added some sugar and lemon to make it sweet, then finally adding the soda water. A sweet cocktail that even lightweights could drink, making it a popular choice for people who didn't want to be hungover. You handed the glasses to the customers and they thanked you, continuing their conversation amongst themselves.

"Ooh, you're good at that." A light voice said, catching your attention. You turned to the voice and were met face to face with man who looked to be in his twenties, wearing a red jumper and a smug grin.

You put a hand on your hip. "Have you got an order?" You asked.

"Ack, ignoring me? Alright, how about a beer?" He ordered, the smile not leaving his face.

"Just a beer? You're very simple." You teased, but picked up one of the clean glasses from the dishwasher.

"Hey, less is more! Can't go wrong with a beer." He replied, laughing.

You dried the glass with a kitchen towel, and put it under the beer dispenser.  You shook your head with a smile on your face.

"Alright, alright. Business is business, even if you have low-quality taste."

He gave you a look of mock-shock as you placed the glass in front of him, foam to the brim. "You're so cold~!"

Lifting the glass to his lips, he took a big swig and slammed it on the table with  as satisfied sigh.

"Ah, that really hit the spot!" He said with a smile. You raised an eyebrow.

"That was quick. Trying to drink away your problems?" You asked, looking amused. He smirked back at you.

"No way, I don't have any problems! Having a beer at the end of the day is just relaxing." He leaned back in his chair. "If I had a girlfriend though, I'd be feeling even better."

You stifled a laugh. "What game you have."

He winked at you. "Is it working?"

You shook your head at him, giggling. "You could be doing better. You're cute though, so you're doing well in that regard." You told him casually.

"Eh, r-really?" All of a sudden his confidence seemed to dissapate, being replaced with a timid expression. You smiled, entertained by his sudden change.

"Why so shy? Can't handle a girl complimenting you?" You asked, and he shook his head frantically.

"No way, girls have to hold themselves back when they see me!" He tried to convince you.

You leaned forward, resting your arms on the bar counter. "I bet, can't say I blame them."

His face went red, matching his jumper. He didn't want to lose to your confidence though, and continued to speak.

"Right, I'm just too hot for them! They're probably too shy to say anything."

You giggled, resting your chin on the palm of your hand. "What if one of them wasn't so shy?" You said suggestively, and a bead of sweat ran down his face.

"Ahah, I wonder..." He trailed off, grinning nervously.

You decided you had enough fun with him, and backed off, him watching you carefully.

"Well, I better get back to work." You thought aloud, moving to pick up the used empty glasses on the counter from last customers.

He started to relax now that you weren't so close to him and whined. "You're ignoring me again?! That sucks..."
