Being a friend of Todomatsu's, that meant you were also somewhat a part of his social media presence. You knew all about his tweeting and messaging his other friends on line, and that was fine. However, he also loved taking pictures, which didn't blend well with you.
It'd be fine if it was just selfies like he usually took, but recently it's been seeming as of he really wanted a picture of you two together, and everytime you'd decline and make excuses. You just... Didn't like seeing yourself. Even with mirrors you'd avert your eyes when passing.
You had trouble telling this to Todomatsu. It was a dilemma for you, but you feared it'd sound silly saying it out loud. Especially to Todomatsu who seemed to be overflowing with confidence.
It was a dreary morning, the effects of sleep still present as you poured your favourite drink. Your reflection staring back at you on the shiny desktop made you wince, and you quickly looked to your television playing re-runs of old shows instead. Just as the best moment of the episode you've seen before happened, your phone emitted a soft tune.
"Yyyyyyy/nnnnnnn!" The voice was easily recognisable, as was the childish whine.
Still, a smile formed on your face. "Todomatsu. Something wrong?"
"You wouldn't believe what's happened!" He replied. "Atsushi stole all the attention. Again!"
You let out a slight chuckle. You've heard of Atsushi, although never meeting him.
"Anyway, I'm so done with mixers. They're lame anyway." He said with a sigh.
You knew for a fact he'd change his mind later and go to another, but said nothing about it. "I see."
"Beeeeeecause of that, I'm free! Let's go somewhere!" He suggested happily, his mood seemingly doing a one-eighty.
Conscious of how you looked, you combed through your hair with your fingers, trying to keep your voice steady. "Oh. R-Right now?"
"Yeah! We'll have more fun than he could ever have." As he finished his sentence, he sounded as if he was gritting his teeth as he said it. The thought made you laugh to yourself, being a slight distraction to your worries.
"Okay..." Your voice was noticeably quieter. Todomatsu paused over the phone, but said nothing about it.
"... Well, just meet me at the usual place, kay? See ya!"
You let out a strained noise of agreement, and hung up. For a while you simply stood, holding your phone in both hands as the episode on the television ended.

Wanting to at least be comfortable, you put on your softest hoodie and simple jeans. You couldn't go wrong with that, could you?
Todomatsu was already there, sporting his usual pink hoodie. His face lit up as he saw you, walking over to you with a smile.
"Y/n-chan! You weren't busy, were you?" He asked.
You shook your head. "No, it's fine. So... What were you planning with this?"
"Let's just have fun! Hmm, let's go grab something to bite, first." He decided, a cat-like smile on his lips.
You nodded, cracking a smile as Todomatsu linked arms with you and led you to a café.
It seemed to be quite popular as the inside was bustling with people. The atmosphere was calm and oozed elegance, so you started to worry if you stuck out as much as you thought you did.
