Since your... 'Agreement' with Akumatsu, he basically lived with you, stealing your favourite foods without asking, as well as going through your stuff.

You supposed you couldn't whole-heartedly blame him though. He seemed curious about human life although he wouldn't admit it aloud, and unknown to you he actually wanted to share the same favourites as you did. To the blind eye though, he was just  as arrogant and bossy as usual.

"Human, where have you been?!" He rudely questioned, glaring at you.

You sighed. This was becoming an occurring thing. "At work. I have another job other than being your 'servant'."

His piercing stare faltered a bit, his annoyed look fading away. "... I see."

After you had walked into the living room, Akumatsu followed although his stride was much less confident. Even through your fatigue you noticed the obvious change, but stayed silent so he could speak for himself.

"I admire your diligence, pathetic human- no. Y/n."

That was definitely strange... From the time you got to know him (which was a while, as he was serious about the servant thing) he was always cocky. Now he was actually complimenting you? Referring to you by your name?

"... Akumatsu? You didn't hit your head or anything, did you? I don't know how got treat Demons!" You stated with panic.

He clicked his tongue at your assumption. "Don't be ridiculous, I'm not an idiot!"

"Sorry." You apologised. You couldn't admit you had grown a bit more comfortable with him, even though he was a demon.. Thing... You weren't sure what to call him exactly.

"Hopefully you weren't too bored here." You said. "You didn't scare off the postman again, did you?"

Akumatsu's frown deepened. "Of course not!"

When he first became your 'roommate', he had to get used to some things. For example the postman who got a very bad scare as Akumatsu was used to threatening people.

A light laugh escaped your lips at his quick answer. Hearing the sound of your happy laughter made Akumatsu unable to look away, but was unsure of the reason why that was. He didn't have time to dwell on it as you had began to speak again.

"Anyway, we can go somewhere again if you want. I'm a bit bored too, honestly." You said, looking at him for his answer.

He simply stared for a moment before he replied. "... Go somewhere? Ah, yes, of course."

'That was... A calm answer. Usually he'd be commanding it by now.'  You thought to yourself.

"Let's go then! Anything specific you want to do?" You asked.

Akumatsu's expression changed, looking thoughtful. "... No, you can choose for today."

You tipped your head to the side, looking at him with puzzlement. "Oh, really? Well, okay..."

This was definitely strange. You supposed it was because he didn't really know what there was to do, so he was leaving it up to you. With that thought in mind, you decided it wasn't a big deal.

Akumatsu's thoughts weren't as clear, as he couldn't figure out why it was so hard to look away from you.
