You weren't in any gangs, but your strength was recognised by them, hearing that you couldn't be defeated, and so tried to take you on countless times. It irked you that they were wasting your time with pointless battles just see who was stronger, but it couldn't be helped. Thanks to your unbelievable strength, the battles were over quick.
Today was no different. A group cornered you and got up in your face, trying to anger you. Their cocky attitudes annoyed you, causing you to roll your eyes. Even after you tried to reason, they wouldn't back down, continuing to throw an onslaught of insults at you.
Unknown to you, there was a man strolling the streets in an interesting get up as you were cornered.
He couldn't hear much, but he recognised the sound of angry voices. Not far from him there was a group of scary looking people, all looking enraged. Normally he wouldn't throw himself recklessly into danger, but he wanted to help people when they needed it.
"Hey!" He called them confidently. They turned to him with narrowed eyes and he felt sudden regret.
He was pretty strong, but there were four of them... He shook his head.
"What do you think you're doing? Stop that, now." He made his voice serious.
"Hah?" One of them asked. It was a woman with a rough voice, clenching her fists. "Who d'ya think you are? You askin' for a fight?"
He raised a hand. "Now, now. If you stop this, you won't have anything to regret doing."
The woman gaped at him, then threw her head back and laughed. Her friends joined in.
Then, he heard someone's voice.
"He's right, you can just back out of this now."
The angry-looking woman turned, gritting her teeth.
"What was that?! I'll kill you, bitch!" She yelled, almost spitting.
You stood forward, deciding enough was enough.
Now that he was much closer, he could see that you wasn't scared at all. In fact you looked more annoyed than anything. You crossed her arms, sighing.
"Listen, just knock it off. I get you're trying to be tough, but it's a real bother." You told them, looking the woman in the eyes.
"You're really askin' for it now, you know that?!" His arm thrust out and grabbed you by the collar of you shirt. It didn't faze you at all.
One of the woman's friends spoke up. "Maybe we should go..."
She shook her head. "No way, I'm not letting this go!"
Suddenly she raised her fist, and the man eyes squeezed shut, unable to move. Although he didn't hear anything.
Opening his eyes, he saw that the punch hadn't hit, and the man's fist was being held by the woman.
"Jeez, still going? Fine, I'll humour you." She said, and twisted her arm. She let out a noise of pain and recoiled, her friends watching.
She grunted, looking up at her comrades. "W-what're you doing? Hit her already!" She shouted.
Nervous, her friends tried to fight back, but you managed to dodge and deflect all hits, and soon they were on their knees.
You dusted her hands, and sighed. "Next time, don't start a fight you can't win." You scolded, and prepared to leave. On the way, you noticed the man watching.
"Oh, hey. You saw all that, huh?"
He had to shut his gaping mouth. "Yes, I did." He couldn't think of what else to say.
