"Hey, Y/n? Earth to Y/n...!"

You looked to see the source of the voice calling out of your thoughts. "Huh? Sorry, I was daydreaming."

Osomatsu laughed to himself. "Well, yeah, I could see that! Is there something more interesting than my charming face?"

You half-smiled at his words. "You sound like Karamatsu. And I wasn't really thinking about anything specific..."

You had expected him to complain about you comparing him to his younger brother, but he only stared back at you with a hum. He looked to be deep in thought, which was a strange sight to see.

Before you could question it he smiled again, as if nothing was out of the ordinary. "Ah well, I wasn't saying anything that important anyway! I got some good news though!"

You tilted your head quizzically, and he responded with a proud laugh. Rubbing his nose, he grinned.

"I've got some cash burning a hole in my pocket, so how 'bout we go have some fun?" He offered. You eyed him suspiciously.

"And you came across this money, how...?"

"That's not important. Anywho, let's get going already!" He pushed impatiently, standing up from his position on the floor to hold out his hand to you.

'He definitely stole it from his brothers.'  You thought to yourself, but you couldn't deny that maybe it would be fun. You came to the Matsuno household just to hang out as usual, but you weren't in the most social mood. You hoped you wouldn't be terrible company during your impromptu trip with Osomatsu...

You took his hand, his face seemingly brightening as you did so.

"Alright! Let's get somethin' to eat first." He suggested, looking to you for your agreement. Honestly the twisting feeling in your gut had repelled you from food, however due to that your stomach had been grumbling for what seemed to be the whole day.

Noticing you were slipping back into a day dream, you quickly nodded. "Uh, yeah. Sure."

Osomatsu hesitated for a moment, but his strange expression disappeared so quickly you weren't sure if you even saw it in the first place.

At first you had expected for him to just gleefully drag you to Chibita's and get himself drunk, but actually you found yourself at the door of you're sovereign restaurant. A questioning glance was directed at him and he rubbed the back of he neck.

"What? I like this place too, y'know."  His tone sounded somewhat bashful, unlike the usual cockiness you were used to. Soon enough he was back to his usual way of speech, impatiently walking into the establishment.

You followed behind, shrugging off his strange demeanour. That was until he offered to pay. You could only hide your skepticism for so long until you had to be upfront and ask.

"Alright, what's up? You're acting weird." You stated, folding your arms. He scratched his head, shrugging.

"Me? Nothin'."

You stayed silent for a moment, staring straight right at him. He stared back, until he got uncomfortable and eventually averted his eyes. He have in, raised his hands in surrender.

"Alright, I'll spill, stop giving me death glares already!!"

A smile tugged on your lips, an action you've been finding it hard to do lately. He sighed, then spoke.

"You've just seems really weird lately, like you're always staring into space. Plus you always look so nervous now, and I doubt it's because of my good looks." He said. Even now he was trying to make you laugh.

It worked, and his eyes lit up as you did. "So I thought I'd take your mind off it, whatever it is."

A warm feeling spread through your chest, so different from the uncomfortable  twisting of your stomach that had bothered for weeks on end. Even so, you found it hard to voice your thoughts. Who would want to listen to someone else's problems?

Your fingers curled up into clenched fists as your gaze lowered to the table. Osomatsu stayed silent, as if he knew you were readying yourself to speak.

"It's... A lot of different things."

Osomatsu leaned back in his chair, nodding thoughtfully. "Huh. Like what?"

For some his aloof attitude would comes across rude and uncaring, but his lax demeanour actually helped coax you into speaking your worries aloud.

"Well... I feel like I'm constantly running out of time, but I don't know what to do with myself. It seems like everyone else has a goal on life but me." You finally confessed. Tears had already begun to prick at your eyes.

"I know it's silly. I'm probably not even making that much sense, but..." You trailed off.

"Nah, I get you." Osomatsu spoke up. You looked back at him questionably.

"You do? Really?"

He frowned, but it wasn't out of seriousness. "Hey, I think about that stuff too, y'know!"

You chuckled a bit. "True. Sorry, you always just seem so carefree. I'm a bit jealous."

He smiled hearing your small but nonetheless real laughter. "Well, you just gotta focus on the good stuff. Don't worry about finding a place in life, 'cause eventually you'll get there and it'll feel like you were worrying over nothin'."

You paused, blinking at him. "Wow. I really wasn't expecting to hear that from you."

Osomatsu's mouth fell open in shock. "Hey!"

Shaking your head, you wiped at your eyes. The tears weren't akin to previous ones, instead ones of relief.

"Hahah. Thanks though, Osomatsu. Really." You said honestly, smiling at him.

His response wasn't immediate. "Uh, y-yeah, it's nothing. Hey, isn't the food taking a while?!"

"Hm, maybe. I don't mind waiting for a while though. I need more moments like this." You replied, resting your chin on his palm.

Osomatsu scratched the back of his head again, only briefly meeting your eyes before letting them wander to the outside of the window. When he finally spoke again his voice was much softer than you expected to be.

"You know you can talk to be about stuff, right? It doesn't matter how stupid it sounds." He then rubbed his nose, suddenly laughing. "Believe me, I know stupid!"

That comforting feeling became noticeable again. "Yeah... You are pretty stupid."

"What?! That's the thanks I get?!"

Your quiet laughter had turned into a much more genuine one that you couldn't hold back. Osomatsu seemed to be beam at the sight.

"I'm okay though, I'm feeling a lot better." You told him, your heart resonating with your words.

A/N: I'm really not sure about this one, I think I was very repetitive at some parts. I didn't write it all at once, so the pacing might be a little weird. ^^

I might come back to it or have this type of reader with a different brother and see how it comes out. Let me know your thoughts! I just had this idea for a while as I'm the type of person who worries easily, and Osomatsu seems like he'd be good at lightening people's moods up.
