"Do I look alright, Aunt Grace?" Amarelle questioned as it got time to open the bar

"Sweetie, you look fine. I dig the look!" Grace replied with a smile

"Where will I be working?" She asked

"Down in the pool hall. Mostly fetching drinks and cleaning off tables. Tonight isn't usually busy so it should be a good introduction for ya." Grace replied with a smile

Ama wasn't so sure. She loved the outfit but she didn't know how customers were going to take her. Grace introduced her to Jimmy, who was the bartender in the pool hall, so he could her up to speed on how things ran and what she'd be doing. She was thrilled to hear any tips she made she got to keep. She would have to bring food if anyone ordered but she didn't think that would be much of a problem.

Six grown men arrived at "The Good Life". Chance was impressed by the building as they walked up.

"This place looks really cool." Chance stated

They walked in and stopped. It seemed to be a pretty popular place according to the crowd that was already there. Austin slid his arm around his boyfriend's waist as they walked to find a table that would fit all six. Tim slipped his hand into Adam's making the blond man smile. They found a table and sat down as a waitress walked over with a smile.

"Good evening, fellas! Welcome to 'The Good Life'! What can I get you this evening?" She happily stated

The group gave their order.

"I'll be right then. Oh, if you get hungry, we have an amazing grill. Just let me know if or when you want to see a menu!" She smiled before walking away

"I don't think I've ever seen a waitress quite so happy!" Tim chuckled

"How did your friend know about this place?" Rob asked

"Well, it's my friend's girlfriend's bar." Luke chuckled

"Your friend's girlfriend is pretty awesome!" Austin laughed

Their drinks were brought. There was a jukebox and people kept the tunes playing. Everyone was relaxed, happy, and having a good time. The happy couples even hit the dance floor when slow songs came on. Luke was happy the guys seemed to like this bar. It seemed like a local hot spot which was good since they'd be here all summer! Tim and Adam were walking back to the table after dancing and laughing.

"Hey Ama, how's it going down here?" Grace asked her niece as she plopped down on a bar stool

"Good. I think." Amarelle replied with a shrug

Grace chuckled, "Any problems?"

"No. It's been pretty quiet I guess." Ama replied

"Think you'll like working here?" Grace asked her niece

"I think so." Amarelle replied with a nod, "We'll see how it goes."

"Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to go hang out and see the sights and spend time at the beach." Grace chuckled, "Well, I should get back upstairs. Let me know if you need me, OK?"

"Sure thing, Auntie!" Amarelle laughed

Grace headed back upstairs with a grin. The bar was decently full for this week night. Lots of regulars, a good amount of people she'd never seen before, and so far there didn't seem to be any problems. She sat at the end of the bar chatting with one of her bartenders. Her eyes ghosted over a photo that hung behind the bar and she had to smile. It was of her and her two boyfriends, Maverick and Zane, at the grand opening of the bar. It always made her smile.
