James and the biker lawyers had done some amazing investigative work. They had proven that Tamarine and the family had been stalking not only Amarelle but the band as well. They were harassing Amarelle, Tim, and Adam. They had physical proof that in each altercation, they had been the aggressors. They had a court hearing so everyone had to fly back into Nashville.
Ama picked everyone up from the airport. The bikers were staying at a hotel close to the airport which had a car rental place. They reassured her they would be at the court on time and to not worry about a thing. She was confident in their confidence and did her best not to worry. The day of the court hearing, the rest of the band plus Luke had come with them to the courthouse for support and testimony.
"Are you sure those biker friends of yours are going to show?" Tim leaned over and asked his wife.
"I'm sure. Relax, baby. We got this." She smiled at the brunette.
"Whore." Tamarine spat at Amarelle as she walked by.
"That loser of yours is going to prison! I hope he likes being the bitch!" Angeline said as she stopped by where they were sitting.
"That was...." Rob started.
"Hush. We'll handle this." James said as the three lawyers appeared, "Go sit with your counselor and leave my clients alone."
"Thanks." Ama said.
Erik and Shane were talking with the rest of the group while James was getting things prepared with the Foust's. Tamarine could only stare angrily at her daughter and the two men she was "married" to. Before long, the judge came out and took his seat. He read through some papers then looked around the courtroom.
"Mrs. Foust I have a few questions for you." The judge said making her stand up.
"Yes, Your Honor?"
"Do you feel safe at home?" He asked her.
"Of course I do!" She quickly replied.
"Do you feel like Mr. Foust is a threat to you, to the child in the home, or your unborn child?" The judge asked.
"Absolutely not! And it's a ridiculous thing to even ask!" Amarelle retorted.
"One last question, Mrs. Foust. In a statement you gave to one of the officers, you said, and I quote 'That fucking cunt bag deserved it and if I weren't pregnant I would have been the one beating her ass.' Do you believe he struck your mother in an effort to protect you and your unborn child?" The judge asked.
"Yes I do, Your Honor. He wouldn't normally hit a woman." Amarelle replied.
"Thank you. You may be seated. Mr. Adam Foust, I have some questions for you." The judge looked over to the blond who was hugging their wife.
"Yes, Your Honor?" Adam asked as he stood next to his husband.
"What could that fruit loop tell you?" Tamarine shouted as she snarled at the blond.
The judge looked over at Ama's "family" and gave a "look". Their lawyer leaned over and began whispering to the group of them. James smirked knowing what was being said.
"Mr. Foust, in the time you've been with your husband, have you ever noticed him exhibiting any violent behavior?" The judge inquired
"Not at all, Sir." Adam replied.
"Were these incidents unusual behaviors for him?" The judge asked.
"Very much so, Your Honor." Adam said.
"Do you feel Mr. Foust is a threat to you, to Mrs. Foust, to your daughter or the unborn child?" The judge asked Adam.
"Absolutely not, Sir. He loves us all very much and would do anything to protect his family." Adam replied.
