Tim sighed. He'd much rather be out enjoying Hawaii than stuck in some warehouse being photographed. Austin, too, was in no mood for this and didn't hide his feelings very well.
"Alright fellas, we're gonna have some fun and get some awesome photos of you guys!" The photographer smiled at them.
He had his assistant hand them outfits, not much different than what they'd normally wear on stage, to change into. While they were getting dressed, he was preparing the space. He had a small stage he was going to put the boys on with a green screen behind it. On the green screen, he'd be projecting a sunset over the ocean with palm trees on either side but slightly back from the stage. He was finishing getting the lighting set up when Chance emerged fully dressed.
"Well don't you look handsome." One of the photographer's assistants smiled at him.
"Uh, thanks." He stuck his hands in his pockets as he looked away from her.
"It must get lonely out on the road. Spouse thousands of miles away." She moved closer to him where there were only a few inches between them.
"Actually, he's not that lonely since his spouse is on the road with him all the time." Austin wrapped his arm around Chance's waist possessively.
"It's too bad you play for that team." She smirked, "We could've had some fun."
"Shawna! Quit harassing the clients, damnit!" Their photographer, Greg stated, voice loud and angry.
Tim was laughing as he emerged from the changing room which didn't help Austin's mood.
"Oh come on. That was funny." Tim stated, "And don't tell me it doesn't boost your ego when someone, male or female, hits on your spouse!"
"Huh. I never really thought about it like that!" Austin cocked his head to the left as he rubbed his chin.
Once everyone had finished dressing, Greg had them stand where he wanted them. He had several poses in mind and wanted to do his best to capture the magic of the group on stage. 'I bet Amarelle could do better than this guy.' Chance huffed to himself. The entire group were thinking along the same lines. Luke, seeing how uncomfortable the entire group was, made quite the surprising suggestion.
"Greg, I'm not sure this is going to work. I know this is for a local magazine and we're more than happy to do this shoot but the guys are awfully uncomfortable here. Now, I have a photographer whom I know they are comfortable with and I can attest to her work." Luke lead into what he wanted
"You think your friend can do better than our photographer?" The magazine writer huffed, "Fine. Let's see what he can do."
Luke smiled as he whipped his phone out.
"Hey, I'm sorry to bother you. Would you bring your camera? I have a job for you. It's a photo shoot for a local magazine. I'll send you the address." Luke said as soon as she'd picked up.
"Uh, ok. You know I'm happy to help. Who am I doing a shoot for?" She smiled.
"Who do you think?" Luke laughed, "Please get here as soon as you can."
"I'll see if Kelsey can watch Cerise while I'm gone. I'll be there as soon as I can." She looked over at Kelsey who was just nodding at her.
"Thank you! We owe you one. I'll send that text. See you soon." Luke told her with a smile.
Not only did he text her the address, but he sent her another text to give her the heads up of why her services were needed.
Luke: the mag writer isn't convinced you can do better than their photog. All the guys are uncomfortable; please make it fun!
