A/N: Yes, I fully understand this is not how an actual court case would really go. Especially since the incident with Ama happened in Jenika's home state. It's fiction, go with it ok ;) Enjoy :P
A loud pounding at the door woke the trio up. Ama threw the covers off her, slipped Tim's t-shirt over her head as she padded to the door, then swung it open. Chance and Austin stood there smirking.
"It's not even what you think. What do you want?" She semi-snapped at them taking both men aback.
"Oh. Uh, we'll be leaving in about an hour. We didn't see y'all at breakfast so we thought we'd come and make sure you guys were up." Chance rubbed the back of his neck.
"Oh. Thanks for checking on us. And sorry for snapping. It was....a long night last night." She said by way of apology.
"Care to talk about it?" Chance furrowed his brows.
"Maybe later. We need to get up and packed. We'll see ya downstairs." She offered a sleepy smile to the duo.
With a groan, she shut the door and walked back into the room. Looking at the bed, she found Adam on his back with Tim's head in the middle of his chest. Both of Adam's arms were wrapped so protectively around the brunette and his head was resting against Tim's. 'I love these two so much. I wish I could do more for them. Do something to ease their pain.' she thought as she began throwing clothes into suitcases.
She slipped into a pair of shorts, which were hidden by Tim's t-shirt, and flops and decided she'd just wear his shirt all day. Adam's phone dinged with a new notification as she was packing up their stuff. She wanted to answer it but she also needed to get packed up and ready to hit the road. As she was making sure her laptop and everything with it was packed up, his phone dinged again. Amarelle huffed as she moved to sit on the edge of the bed and grabbed his phone. Texts from Ericha. Ama rolled her eyes as she set the phone back on the bedside table.
"Sweetie, y'all gotta get up. We got less than an hour before we have to hit the road." She shook Adam's shoulder.
"Huh? What time is it?" He rubbed his face with his left hand.
"It's like 9-something. I've got everything packed. Maybe I can whip something up for us once we're on the bus." She replied, loving Adam's sleepy face.
"Coffeeeeeeeee." A rumble came from Tim.
"I'll make you some coffee when we get to the bus. Get up and get dressed. Then we'll check out and head to the bus, ok?" She brushed some hair behind his ear.
"Come on, Cowboy. She's going to make us something to eat as well. How about pancakes? It's light and not greasy. Would be good for his poor tummy." Adam stated.
"Ok." Tim sat up before running his hand over his face.
She smiled at him as he slid out of bed. The two men quickly got dressed, finished packing phone chargers and phones, and walked out their door. They were waiting for the bus to pull around to the front of the hotel before Tim noticed what his wife was wearing.
"Is...is that my shirt?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Yeah."
"Why are you wearing my shirt?" He inquired, amusing Adam.
"Because."
"That's not an answer." He retorted.
"I like it." She countered, "And it smells like you."
"Now see. That's an answer." Tim looked at her, "Please tell me there's something underneath the shirt."
"Panties?" She cocked her eyebrow at him making Adam laugh.
