"Oh! We got a photo with another country band. One of the guys recognized Adam and said they were really digging what you do. Also said they'd love to hear your cover of 'When you say nothing at all' and 'Let your love flow'. Adam thanked him and said he'd bring it up with y'all." Amarelle tried to deflect the conversation.
Chance caught her eye making her look away. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on or why Ericha seemed so hostile and hateful towards Adam. Was this what Tim has been so deep in thought about? Had they had another run-in before now? When would that have happened?
"Hmm. Maybe we should think about it." Rob nodded with a smile.
"Think about what?" Tim's voice echoed as he looked around.
"Doing 'Let your love flow' and/or 'When you say nothing at all'. Another country band said they were digging what we were doing, according to Ama, and one of them said they'd love to hear us do them." Chance flashed his friend a smile.
"Would be interesting." Tim chuckled as he looked over at his wife.
He cocked his head to the side. She was twirling her right wedding band around, the one from Adam, as she was lost in her thoughts. Had something happened while they were out? He looked around. Rob was his usual happy self, chatting and goofing off with Austin. Adam was doing his sound check. Chance caught his eye. Something happened so Tim took his phone out to text Chance.
                              Tim: what happened?
Chance: Nate went to find them so he could do his soundcheck; looked pissed when they returned and she did too
Chance: I asked if he was ok because he looked pissed; quickly said he was fine then jumped up to get his mic pack and earpiece
Tim: hmm, thanks for telling me
"Timothy, after the show tonight, you and I are going to sit down for a chat." Amarelle's voice was heard through the tent making everyone stop and look over at her.
None of them had ever heard her use such an adult, almost mother-tone kind of voice before.
"Sure thing, sweetie." He stared at her
"Alright guys, it'll be maybe fifteen minutes then you'll be hitting the stage." Their tour manager stated as Adam returned
Everyone got quiet as they mentally prepared themselves. Chance watched Amarelle stand up and walk over to Tim. She pulled him into a hug and sweet kiss. It was short and sweet but made him smile. The baritone watched as she moved to Adam. She cupped his face with both hands before kissing him rather passionately. Was she trying to make him feel better? She moved so they were hugging tightly.
"Baby, don't let that little harpy cloud your mind. I love you. Tim loves you. We are a family. I am your wife and you are my husband. If you do not give 100% to this audience I will be very upset. Do not give her that kind of power over you.
Think of your wedding. Think of our home. Think of our family dinners. Think of what you and Tim like to do together. Think of our gaming together. We are a family no matter what anyone or any government office says. I love you so much, Adam. Tim loves you so much. Remember that." Amarelle whispered in his ear.
"Thank you, Ama. I love you too." He squeezed her waist as they hugged
Before long, they were getting ready to hit the stage. The tour manager gave her a pass to let her go out and photograph the band as they did their thing. She stood close to the stage and just watched the people. She could tell the Home Fries because they were clapping, shouting, and singing along. She could tell the people whom the band had piqued their interest. They just stared in awe as they listened to five guys on stage singing, or beatboxing in Adam's case, with absolutely no instruments whatsoever.
