A/N: After reading ObsessedwithTivi's latest chapter of her "Guilty Pleasures" book, an idea struck me. This is dedicated to her. And might I add that if you haven't already started reading that book, you totally should! You won't be sorry! Enjoy :)
"Hey, it's a nice evening tonight. Why don't we light up the fire pit and sit outside?" Tim suggested
"Sounds like a wonderful idea!" Amarelle smiled up at the brunette.
"Want a beer, Adam?" Tim asked as he made his way into the kitchen
"Nah." The blond shook his head, grabbing his glass of tea
"I'll have a glass of the Moscato d'Asti, please." Amarelle said making both men turn and look at her, "What?"
"Nothing. I didn't figure you for a wine drinker!" Tim smirked with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't drink often. Every now and then I'll have a glass and sit outside enjoying the weather." She shrugged before following Adam outside.
The blond was getting the fire in the pit going as Tim got their drinks. She found herself a seat and got settled. As the fire began roaring, Tim handed her a wine glass then sat down himself. Not a word was spoke as the trio sat in their backyard around the fire pit just enjoying the peace and quiet, the beautiful weather, and the company.
Every so often one of them would look around at the other two. Mostly they were all lost in their own thoughts. Tim, for instance, was thinking how unceremonious her becoming their wife actually was. Sure, she was excited to get to change her name. She was very excited about the wedding rings she'd been given. There was no real ceremony to it. 'Shouldn't we do something for her?' Tim's forehead crinkled.
She wasn't worried about anything. In her time talking with the therapist, her time alone, and the knowledge that she could, in fact, take care of herself had done wonders for her. Of course, the real test will come when she's out on the road with them again. It'll take another situation like that for her to truly know if she had honestly worked through all the deep-seated issues she'd had. All-in-all, she was quite confident about their relationship and where they were going.
"Ama? Come here for a minute." Tim's voice suddenly pierced the quiet of the evening, "I....just come here. Please"
She turned to Adam who seemed as confused as she did. Tim was standing off, away from the fire pit, and rubbing the back of his neck. The blond didn't know what to say as he nodded towards their husband. The brunette looked nervous as if he was still pulling his thoughts together. She set her wine glass down and cautiously approached the brunette.
"Sweetie? What's wrong?" Her voice was soft and calm as she reached out and gently touched his forearm.
"Hmm? Nothing's wrong. I realized we never really spoke anything when we had your name changed or when we gave you your wedding rings. It's been on my mind for a while." He rubbed the back of his neck again, "I just thought since it was so peaceful out here that perhaps we could share a few words. For us."
"Aww. That's so sweet, Tim. And such a wonderful idea." She smiled up at him, earning a soft smile in return.
Under the moonlight, with the glow of the firepit to their side, Tim and Amarelle stood there together holding hands. The pair were gazing into one another's eyes, nearly getting lost, before Tim shook his head. This was their own private little "ceremony". Just her and him. And Adam who was apparently standing off to side taking video of the whole thing.
