A/N: Just some extra Tidam love today ;) And I think after the last few chapters we need something a little less dramatic ;)
"Tim, I just want out by saying none of what Jenika said back there is true. You are our friend, we don't just like you, man, we love you. You're our brother. She's just...angry I guess. Don't let what she said get to you." Rob stared at Tim who began shifting in his seat.
"Guys, please. . ." Tim started.
"No, Tim. Don't blow us off. What she said was not just mean. It was very hurtful. She's been saying a lot of really nasty, hurtful things about you and it has to be getting to you by now. You have two people who love you deeply who have been here beside you trying their best to help you through all this. Not many people can say they have found real happiness with just one but here you are with two!
She's either jealous or angry she let an amazing man go, I'm not sure. You are a real man and we all know you take care of your responsibilities. You're always there anytime any of us need anything. I hope you know we're all here for you too. Rob said it perfectly. We don't just like you, we love you. And you deserve all the love in the world." Chance looked around the table.
"You guys don't even know the half of it. Some of the texts she sent him...if I go into them I'll want to punch something. This kind of emotional abuse is usually within a family structure so I'm not sure what she thought she was going to gain or accomplish with this.
Your love and support for Tim is really critical right now. And deeply appreciated by us. I just...show him some extra love for a while." Amarelle looked around at their group.
"That's messed up, man. No one should be told that kind of stuff. I hope you know that whatever she says or said to you, she was just trying to get under your skin. To be mean." Austin added in.
"Like a bully." Chance stated, "She's an emotional bully."
"An emotional bully. Yeah." Ama nodded as she looked over to her bass man
Tim was clearly uncomfortable by the conversation, so Chance got everyone talking about movies. Rumors of some remakes, sequels, new films in the franchise. Tim began relaxing some as they chatted. Adam kept his left hand on Tim's thigh knowing the brunette needed some extra reassurance. He hated what Jenika had done to his Cowboy. His phone buzzed in his pocket, but he ignored it as best as he could.
Meals were brought. Jokes were made. Laughs shared. Yet there was still an ominous feeling deep in the pit of Ama's stomach. Tim was sitting there trying to cheerful. He wasn't sure how he felt about what had happened. Relief, of course, was one feeling. It was nice knowing she probably wouldn't be doing this to him anymore. The rest of his feelings were a bit harder to decipher. Tim knew Adam was trying to keep his spirits up and his mind off court.
Everyone headed back to Tim's house to celebrate his victory. Austin said something about grilling for dinner since it wasn't too cold outside yet. Tim had relaxed considerably, if Luke's eyes weren't deceiving him, but he knew the emotional toll this had taken upon the bass man was not easily healed. Amarelle headed upstairs to change clothes leaving the men to chat about grilling. 'I hope he's going to be ok in the long run after this.' she thought as she changed into some black lounge pants and red tank top.
Luke mentioned they should do yet another Facebook Live chat to let the Home Fries know how court went. Tim just nodded but remained silent. Adam headed upstairs as Tim's phone rang. Ama looked nervous as he answered it. When she realized it was his mother on the other end, she relaxed. He told her all about what had happened and what the judge said. Whatever his mother said seemed to ease his stress a little more as well.
