Dawn came the next morning with the sounds of the Southern Forest surrounding Lerwick filling the room where Lyya, Akane and Misuki lay with their unconscious fiancé.
With a large motion Misuki stretched and her wings flexed along with her movements as she yawned largely.
"Pfffft, Misuki?! That was my face..." Lyya retorted to her wake up call. Mostly getting a bunch of feathers in her face being what woke her.
"Sorry for that... Akane wake up..." Misuki gave her apology and turned her attention to the other woman who had yet to wake, her younger sister.
The only reply being a bunch of incoherent mumbling Misuki gave a glance at Lyya that spelled, 'Sorry'.
Whack!
Misuki and Akane had that 'Sisterly Love' to wake each other.
But from the looks of it a normal person would not survive it.
With a full forced blow, Misuki punched her twin sister in the gut and Akane folded from the impact.
"Gah... Damn it, Onee!" Akane bellowed when her sister's fist struck her stomach full force.
"Just get dressed already... both of you." Lyya snapped at the twins as she stood fully dressed not much later, while they were still bickering.
Her long skirt of light brown with green lining the layers where they had been stitched in layers of ruffles already tied at the lace on her hip.
Her shirt was of plain green cotton and she wore a cardigan over it to keep her arms modestly covered.
Seeing that Lyya had already gotten dressed and the twins still sat bickering, she went downstairs.
On the landing between the rooms their company shared, the door to the side of the one Lyya just came through, lay Pharana Alpenwood, the princess they had agreed to protect on her way to the Eastern Capital.
The door in front of her, Lyya knocked a few times in quick succession and heard a yawn before she called.
"Time to wake you bunch..." Lyya spoke and Aelanna's voice came through the door.
"I'll wake them, we'll be right there."
After that Lyya turned to the stairs on the far right of the landing and descended into The Empty Tree Inn's downstairs main hall.
"Good day, slept well I hope?" The half-gnome innkeeper said with a warm smile while Lyya walked up to the bar he stood behind.
"I'll have some breakfast and tea please; can I pay all of our members' meals and drinks in one go after we all ate?" She spoke up and the man gave a small nod while he scribbled down the order and made a note.
"Very well, I'll put your group's orders for now on a tab and you can pay once everyone has eaten. Your meal will be with you shortly." He spoke and jumped down from something and vanished behind the bar.
He was a half-gnome, so his height made him vanish if he did not stand on an elevation behind his bar, but it still was an amusing sight.
Taking a seat at the table where they had sat the day prior, Lyya rested her head on her arms as she sunk onto the table.
"I hope Kanrish recovers soon. I'm worried about him." She muttered to herself and found she had company while her mind drifted as she waited.
"Don't worry, Onee has some skill in diagnosing magical illnesses. And mana strain isn't such a big deal. It was a shock when he collapsed, though..." Akane replied softly and gently patted Lyya's shoulder as she sat down next to her.
