De-Bugging Another World

VOL.2 Chapter 7: The Former Elder and the Princess.

Back in the main hall of The Empty Tree Inn, the group divided immediately.

Ayame, Emiko and Hapii sat down eating the small blues.

Meanwhile Aelanna and Akane carried their supplies upstairs.

Simultaneously, Misuki and Lyya went to see how Kanrish was doing and Pharana stood confused in the main hall.

"Join us, Hime-Sama...!" Ayame called at her and Pharana joined the three girls at the table.

"Want one?" Hapii chimed, holding out the paper bag to the princess.

Her wings exerting just enough pressure on the bag to not squish the soft berries inside, and yet keep it in place, Hapii held the bag under Pharana's nose.

"Is okay... Hapii don't mind." The girl added cheerily after Pharana stared slightly dumbstruck at the bag of snacks the harpy held out for her.

"Th-thank you..." Pharana was drawn back to reality when the bag gave several rustled noises of paper being crumpled.

Taking a single berry, the princess placed it on her tongue and her face contorted after a moment.

"O-oh... that's long ago. I used to love these as a child... thank you Hapii." Pharana's face first gave a pained look as multiple muscles cramped from the overly sweet little berry she had bitten into.

But after a moment her complexion softened and Pharana began beaming with joy.

She clearly missed something in her life that she could have such joy from a single small berry only a quarter inch large.

"Enjoying the candy, princess..."

With a slightly uncontrolled force, Aelanna clapped Pharana on the shoulder as she sat enjoying the sugary taste of the small fruit.

The three girls next to her sat giggling while they enjoyed the small berries.

Occasionally, Pharana would be offered a few by Hapii who held the paper bag with surprising ease.

"Mind if I sit next to you?" Aelanna asked in a more formal tone, catching Pharana off-guard.

"Y-yes, that.... is okay..." Slowly the princess relaxed after tensing up as Aelanna had addressed her.

"You seem awful tense today?" Aelanna's calm voice reached the nervous Pharana who grew fidgety as the former Tora no Kiba tribe elder sat next to her.

"You don't have to... here let me help you a bit..." Aelanna spoke while rising to her feet again and stood behind the nerve wrecked Pharana.

"Try to relax a little. It surely isn't an everyday thing to get a shoulder rub from a former Tora no Kiba elder... hee-hee." Aelanna spoke teasingly and tried to help Pharana loosen up a bit.

"T-T-Tora n-no Kiba?!" As she heard the formerly associated tribe from Aelanna, Pharana tensed up even more.

"Try to relax, I don't want to hurt you... if you want, I can accompany you to the elder here." Aelanna calmly spoke while massaging the rock solid tensed muscled and gave a few good squeezes into the Princess's trapezius.

Clearly starting to enjoy the massage, Pharana let slip a soft moan of pleasure from her lips.

A soft tigeresque chuckle came from Aelanna's throat as she gave the princess her room to enjoy herself and hid the sound with her tiger-like shifted vocal cords, luckily for Aelanna, it went unnoticed.

With a few moments of silence that enveloped the table, Pharana was enjoying a few more of the dark blue berries as her shoulders were being expertly loosened up by the weretigress.
