VOL.3 Family matters of a painful past

As the sun was cresting the heights of trees where light would pass, Kanrish woke amidst his wives on the massive nine by nine foot bed. Once again, the twins had taken the 'privacy' the room offered them and slept bare naked. Lyya had still chosen to wear her night gown as she would always do when they slept in an inn or another safe location with the privacy to get changed.

So on one side of him he had the beautiful view of Lyya's pretty and calm elven features as she lay sleeping. On his other side lay Akane with her large breasts pushed against his side and practically 'wrapping' themselves around his arm. Misuki lay half between her younger sister and Kanrish's legs and her arms rested around his lower half.

While he woke calm and relaxed, he felt his heart skip a beat at the reminder what had happened a mere day before. Not the celebration of their three month's marriage on the road... but the fact he had been broken out of a police station by Aelanna and nothing had been done against it.

Must've been the norm in these nobility ruled times... He thought to himself and felt Akane slightly shift, yet she remained asleep. The warmth of her body against his made it that he had no need for blankets himself, his three wives would keep him warm enough like it was. Even though, they still slept under blankets, but that was for his wives. While Kanrish was kept warm by three beautiful women, they still had him on only one side of them.

So as usual Kanrish woke in his own sweat from the heat of the night between three warm bodies. He figured when they woke, he would simply take a bath and get freshened up. While he lay between the three women Kanrish rummaged around with his {H.U.D.} Mod a bit and wound up finding the note he had been looking for, for some time now.

Hmm, "Aelanna Avirae Alpenwood-Ashroar." It's almost like I got access to their character sheets as well now. Kanrish thought and mentally swiped through several rows and columns until he spotted two 'drop-down' menus in the corner of the menu screen he had somehow brought up. "Family members" was the text in one of them, it held all the names of their group as well as Pharana Alpenwood and Cairdh Alpenwood.

The other, read, "Summoning contracts". Mentally ordering the tab to drop down, it revealed the twins as the first names. Then followed Hapii and finally stood listed Aelanna with her new full name. With Aelanna's information displayed there were several 'titles' depicted under a small side box with information.

Those were in her "Recently acquired" section of the pane while he was looking it over Kanrish heard a drowsy voice call out to him.

"Kan-Kan, what're you looking at?" Lyya asked while she pushed herself up onto her elbows next to him. "Something I found in my {H.U.D.} mod. Don't know exactly how this even got up here." He replied and Lyya giggled as she pressed a soft kiss onto his cheekbone. "Don't worry, but what is it?" She asked and Kanrish gave her a worried look and operated the menus to get to Lyya's information.

"What's this? You suddenly changed all the text..." She spoke disappointed and Kanrish focused his mind on 'translating' the entire thing for her. Before his very eyes the text all shifted from the normal Latin characters in which English and many other languages were written, to this world's standard elven script.

"Kyaa! How did you get this information... My mother's name I never told you tha_... Mhhphph..." Lyya exclaimed in amazement of the detailed information of her past and Kanrish chose the 'smart' way of silencing her panicked shouts, he simply kissed her. The plane of magic that he had unconsciously physically summoned to look at the information slid to the side and Kanrish was violently pushed away by Lyya.
