[Author's note]

A little heads-up for the bunch of bonus chapters I release today. If you all want to see this happen again, there are two ways to accomplish that.

1 is to get my Wattpad follower count to 150.

2 is to get my Patreon to 10 Patrons.

With each of those accomplished, I will release bonus chapters for all my works again, so on the horizon are two more of these bonus batches. I will in the future opt for doing this again occasionally.

If you like my work, please consider joining my Patreon for early releases for Wattpad and the fully edited books, Ebooks are already available and I need the funding to get Physical copies out, there are tiers for every series I have and an all-in-one bundle for my ebooks.

If you join my Patreon, you would help me out greatly in sustaining my writing up to a professional degree, I have the goal of selling my books and sharing the unedited versions here in Wattpad has helped me a great deal in getting my works known and out there, but as every author, I wish to make a living with doing what I love, creating stories for the world to enjoy while keeping myself fed with an income from it.

You can find my Patreon at www.patreon.com/padgevanderklift

If you want a fun chat, my discord is open for all Wattpad members as well, only the general chat and the rules are available, but feel free to join us at https://discord.gg/w66GDsg

The next day, Aelanna finally arrived at the base of the Eastern Cardinal again, under the guise of night. Her attempt to sneak the seventy-something Royal Guard members she had dragged along on her bootcamp back into the tree-based city might find some hick-ups, however.

About half the guards that had accompanied her, were beaten black and blue, about a fifth had been limping along on the way back and the remainder, had called an early end to her 'intense' sparring training.

"Shut it, whimps, you wanted to train under me, no complaining now you got the real Tora no Kiba training." Aelanna hissed through her teeth at the men and women who had reluctantly followed her back to the city in the dead of night.

Three days of continual training followed by a death march to return to their homes had proven too much for them so early on.

"Just get up that tree already, I'm done with you all. If you ask me, you're unfit to protect my wife, even my nieces would do a better job, they did make it through this training regimen for months on end!" Aelanna shouted at them once the massive group collapsed into a caravan of military grade carriages that had been prepared to drive them all up the tree again.

"Coachmen, whip those carts to the Royal Guard barracks!" She thundered at the five different people who sat waiting for their transports to arrive, the group of beaten down Royal Guards that were certainly nowhere near as fit as the day they had left with Aelanna.

"Y-Your Highness, please board as well, we shall see you to the..." One of the female coachmen addressed Aelanna but was waved silent with a scowl. "I've had it with these weaklings, get them to their barracks, I'll make my way up the tree by myself." She replied and transformed into her tiger form, something she rarely did.

In fact, around her wife for the intimacy of grooming was one of the very few occasions in which Aelanna would consider taking the shape. But now her orders were to make it to her wife, post-haste.

With that in mind, she leapt onto the ramp mid-transformation and ran up the endless spiral for as long as her paws would allow.

The air rushed past her whiskers, ruffled her fur and whistled in her ears with every leap she took. Aelanna could not help but purr while she ran up the long winding ramp around the tree, carriages and other traffic going both ways, were surprised by the armored tiger running by.
