Roughly half a week had passed while Aelanna and Pharana had their business getting everything ordered for their wedding.

Meanwhile Kanrish had spent his time trying to micromanage his three wives on top of preparing what he could for the enchantment for the couple's rings.

While he had been on a date already with Lyya, the twins simply wished for his company and little more.

Seemed they had rather low demands for their lover.

Meanwhile, Kanrish managed to get Akane out of the mansion with him.

Their 'walk' took them multiple flights of stairs down in the tree.

They even passed a guard station that was meant to keep the 'commoners' out of the Nobles' Upper Branches.

"Kanrish-Dono, Baby, where are we going?" Akane asked when they walked down the sidewalk of a busy street, lined with stalls and stores on both sides.

The 'road' itself was mostly occupied by carts being pulled by hand to get produce from point A, to point B.

Carriages with ground drakes pulling them made up about a third of the traffic on the street.

Folks of all races intermingled here.

Beastfolk walked with their heads held high, dwarves stepped between the crowds as did the gnomes and other shorter races.

Elves and humans seemed to easily coexist here.

At a small stall selling several different types of jewelry, Kanrish noticed an exchange going on between an elf and a dwarf.

Their calm and friendly interactions while the dwarf was buying several pieces of cheap jewelry was going fully against the major fantasy staple of their races' inherent hatred.

Taking her hand, Kanrish pulled Akane with him to the stall.

For a Demi-Goddess her excited response was surprising.

She stood fawning over several types of necklaces.

A few rings caught Kanrish's attention but seemed of rather poor craftsmanship compared to most products being sold by the elf.

While Akane moved her attention from a set of silver bracelets and a matching necklace, to the box holding a multitude of different rings, Kanrish took his chance.

He had grown used to picking up items from this kind of stall and asking the price, and so he did.

The bracelets and necklace in hand, Kanrish ushered the elven shopkeeper to the side of his stand.

With the products he wished to buy out of sight from Akane, who stood admiring a ring with black, carved obsidian set into several sockets along the ring, he addressed the man.

"How much for these and the ring with obsidian my wife is currently looking at?" He asked in a hushed voice and saw the elf furrow his brow in thought.

"For twenty full silver they're yours." He replied shortly after and Kanrish nodded as he slid his free hand into his bag.

Taking the twenty coins from his inventory, he realized these coins would sell for a lot of money in his old world as he handed them to the stall's owner.

Each coin was roughly an inch in diameter.

They each weighed roughly as much as a large onion if he had to compare it to something he could place.

So one coin meant he had roughly a hundred something in grams of silver.

He also had a few full gold coins he didn't dare change into anything else. Those things were twice as big and weighed a lot more. You could almost say they were similar to gold ingots, if exaggerating. Still value wise here, they were though.
