After a long night where Kanrish had slept with broken mind, and a shattered hope, the group woke to the noise of battle.

Aelanna was not around in the camp and a flash of a silver reflection betrayed her in the forest to their side.

"What the hell's she up to this early?" Kanrish asked as he heard the weretigress' footsteps returning to the camp.

"Hope you all like deer, 'cause that's for breakfast...!" She called out walking into the clearing and dropping two adult deer on the ground.

"I don't mind getting hunting duty, but I'm no good at butchering this stuff. Or any butchering is more like it." She turned silent briefly as she seemed to ponder something and cheerfully added,

"Except the butchering it when it's alive that is...!"

"Onee-Chan... she's worse than those two..." Ayame whispered upon hearing that while her gaze kept switching between Aelanna and Akane and Misuki.

"Slow down Kitty-Cat... you're scaring the kids, and Sis and I know you're from a proud tribe of warriors." Misuki retorted, mostly insulted by the new member of their group being so 'joyfully' talking about killing.

"We'll see what we do since meat alone won't last us for our health. There's more to eating than just meat." Kanrish said while the two dark elf sisters began skinning the deer Aelanna had brought.

Having finished preparing, they asked Kanrish for a few vegetables and some potatoes to add to the stew as they had begun boiling water with some of the chunks of deer in it.

"I have a few things I want to make so these things can just be taken... would need a carriage first though." He muttered to himself taking the requested supplies from his bag and handing them to the two dark elf girls who ran back to their cooking.

The camp was bustling with activity that morning and an hour later Ayame and Emiko's cooking skills had been proven valuable.

So the group now had most duties covered, except just one person who so far kind of tagged along.

The group had Kanrish, Akane, Misuki and now also Aelanna for guard duty.

Lyya and Kanrish were both capable healers, so they covered the 'health care department'.

Aelanna had definitely proven herself to be a capable hunter.

Emiko and Ayame were skilled at cooking as well as processing the catch from Aelanna's hunting.

It was just Hapii who had little to do. For combat she was of little use since weapons were no option for her.

Hunting was better left to Aelanna considering the current size of the group. Cooking and butchering were definite a no-go so what was left was being part of the family it seemed.

So Hapii was the only one in the end without specified duties. Although Kanrish figured he could occasionally send her flying ahead to see what lay ahead of them.

He just should avoid high expectations with that. She had proven to be the least bright member of their group.

But she had to have something to do, so in a 'kind of cover-up' attempt when the duties were divided he placed the down beaten harpy on scouting, although for keeping her busy that day he told her she would be on 'Aerial Reconnaissance'.

She was definitely busy with those two words.

Well literally the words, she did not have to scout right now, but hell Kanrish had trouble keeping his laughter hidden as she struggled to figure out what it meant.
