It's been two months since big changes were placed upon the island of Berk. For one, Drago Bludvist attacked with his dragon army which ended in finding the Chief's mother, Valka and as well as the gang, Valka, Gobber and a dragon hunter turned good named Eret to attend Stoick's early funeral. Once the long-term duo of Hiccup and Toothless defeated Drago and his dragon army, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III was crowned Chief of his village. Now, with Hiccup as new Chief, he's getting a bit stressed with getting the village back on its feet.
"And so the trader will be here tomorrow morning?" Gobber asked Hiccup
"Yes he will, and we have to also finish repairing the last of the huts" Hiccup replied
"And I can get a few timberjacks to start cutting down some of the trees" Valka chimed in
"That would be great mom, and I think that's everything we needed to discuss"
"Well, I should go finish cleaning up the forge for the night, see you tomorrow Chief" Gobber stood up and headed to the door
"See you tomorrow Gobber"
"And I should go help Eret with getting the last of the dragons in their pens, goodnight son" Valka hugged Hiccup
"Night mom" He hugged back
Hiccup sat down and had a long sigh, all of the paperwork he had to deal with and all the outside jobs he had to deal with was just catching up on him. He didn't have his father to tell him the right thing to do, and when to do something. Hiccup also realized that he hasn't had much time with Astrid, he hated that he had less and less time with her.
"Why not we go find Astrid bud?" Hiccup turned to Toothless, who cooed in response
"Alright, let's go" Hiccup and Toothless walked out
Once Hiccup and Toothless walked out of the Great Hall, they bumped into Astrid, and, Hiccup, too much f Astrid's surprise hugged her without context
"Hey babe, what's the occasion?" Astrid looked up at her boyfriend
"I've just been really stressed and busy with Chief work" Hiccup sighed "And I also realized that I haven't had enough time with you" Hiccup pulled away
"And I get that Hiccup we're still all trying to recollect from what happened, some more than others." Astrid took Hiccup's hands in hers
"I know you get it Astrid, but, I still need to make time for you. So, how about a moonlight flight?"
"I would love that"
And off went the young couple into the night, for the first time in days
