New Book... Please Read

So, I got inspired by the YouTuber Random Encounters skit called Resident Enis and decided to make a book out of it, and here is a little sneak peek of it, I hope you like it

This place was once a bustling town.

Now?

It's like the Hunger Games only with monsters as your enemy.

Mage, Boomer and I were the only people we knew that were alive, but a member was about to go down

"Come on! There's a house up ahead!" I shouted from scouting to Mage and an injured Boomer

"Alright, hopefully, if anyone's there, they'll have an antidote for a Hellhound bite." Mage pulled Boomer's nonbitten arm around his shoulders

I should probably tell you, Mage isn't his real name, its Mark, he's 17, and Boomer isn't his, it's Ben, he's 17, and then my nickname is Kicker, but my real name is Kate, and I'm 16

"Almost there!" I continued running, before throwing up a signal for them to stop "I'll check it out." I whispered

I pushed open the door, pulling out an arrow and readying my bow

"Hello?" I drew my arrow, ready to fire at any moment

I continued through the main floor, finding nothing, before running back out to tell them the coast was clear

"Come on. Just hold on a little longer Boomer." Mage continued basically dragging in Boomer as quickly as he could

"Hurry!" I shouted as I shot a bearing monster

Just as Mage and Boomer were in, I closed the doors and put down the lock, hoping that it would be enough to hold them

"Okay, so, we need to check for any possible books on curing a Hellhound bite." I set my bow across my shoulder and started sifting through the book-lined shelves

"You sure you'll be okay?" Mage asked me from the other side of the room

"Why are you worrying about me when Boomer has a Hellhound bite?" I retorted

"I'm not gonna make it am I?" Boomer asked

"What? No!" Mage retorted

"It'll be alright, we're gonna stay the night here get you all better, it'll be just like a sleepover." I replied, crouching down next to Boomer

"I love sleepovers!" A voice said from in front of us
