Today was Highschool graduation for all except two. Hiccup and Hope. With Cystic Fibrosis, they had to leave school to go into treatments for it. And they hadn't seen the gang in months because of finals. And Hiccup wanted to do something to make up for not being at graduation with Astrid.
"We have had a pleasure having all of these fantastic pupils with us these past four years, and only wish them the best of luck in their future." Ms. Gothi, the principal, was finishing up the ceremony, when "But before they throw their Graduation caps into the sky. We have a special message to Astrid Hofferson from Hiccup Haddock."
Heather gave Astrid a puzzled but excited look
A projector screen lowered as a projection was pulled up. It was Hiccup and Hope in hospital rooms
"Hey Berkley High!" Hope waved
"So. As all of you may know, Hope and I have Cystic Fibrosis. Which is why we have two different face times going. Me and Hope cant be closer together than 6 feet." Hiccup explained
"And this is just a motivational song we've been working on that we wanted you to hear. Especially Astrid." Hope adjusted her guitar
"Alright Hope. Start it up."
Hope started strumming her guitar

"Oh, my gods." Astrid started to tear up as her and her classmates were still standing on stage
"He really did this for you." Heather whispered to Astrid

Even when nobody else believes

Backstage
"How do I look?" Hiccup asked Hope as he adjusted his graduation cap
"Perfect." Hope nodded
"Do you think she suspects anything?"
"Not at all"
On stage

"I'll reach my hands out in the dark
