With the Homecoming dance, Hiccup had thought of the most cheesy way to ask Astrid
"Really? That's how your gonna ask her?" Hope was sitting on her bed with her white lab Treasure on her lap
"Yes! And would you like and t tell you how a certain someone is gonna ask you out?" Hiccup retaliated to Hope with a smirk
"Please don't tell me that Snotlout is still trying to get with me" Hope groaned
"Not ever since he found out that we are twins he isn't." Hiccup chuckled
"Thank Thor! It was disgusting how he would hit on me 24/7"
"Yeah, but I'm talking about someone else"
"Who?!"
"I won't tell. So, will you help me or not?"
"Fine, but your playing the guitar cause you know that isn't my strong suit."
"Okay" Hiccup laughed "Let's do it"
It was the next day, Hiccup was waiting for Hope to bring Astrid to the spot that Hiccup and Astrid had their first date
"Can I take the blindfold off now Hope? I don't wanna repeat what happened last time." Astrid whined
It was Christmas morning and Hope had blindfolded Astrid to take her to see the motorcycle that Hiccup got Astrid
"Can I take it off?" Astrid asked
"Nope!" Hope popped the 'p'
"Why not?"
"Because I said so!"
Hope had her hands on Astrid's shoulder as Mrs. Hofferson had dropped them off at the Haddock's
"Alright. Three. Two. One!" Hope ripped off Astrid's blindfold, taking some of her hair with it
"Ow!" Astrid grabbed the back of her head
"Oh no." Hope breathed
"Surprise!" Hiccup pulled the tarp off of the motorcycle
"Hiccup! You didn't!" Astrid gasped as she ran over and hugged him
"Merry Christmas M'lady." Hiccup sighed
"Yeah, but, your hair grew back" Hope shrugged
"After getting a pixie cut it sure looked like it!" Astrid snapped back
"Alright, Ast, hold your horses."
Hope gave a nod to Hiccup as she untied the scarf tied around Astrid's eyes
"Have fun!" Hope took the scarf off and ran and hid to film the whole thing
"Oh, Hiccup! It's beautiful!" Astrid started as Hiccup started strumming and Hope started filming

Hiccup and Hope were out for Ice Cream and this song started playing on the speakers
"Wait" Astrid held her cone for a moment
"What? What's wrong?" Hiccup asked, worried
"I've heard this song before!"
"Really?"
"Yeah, Heather played it when we were at a study session one time"
"Is it a good song? With all the talking I can't really hear it?"
"Let's head over to my place after we finish these"
After Hiccup and Astrid finished their Ice Cream, they headed over to Astrid's house

"All thanks to you M'lady" Hiccup kissed her
"So, not to be rude, but, something as cheesy as that has a reason"
"Well, would you like to go to Homecoming with me?"
"Of course you dork!" Astrid hugged Hiccup as he sighed a sigh of relief
"And cut." Hope whispered as she stopped recording
And that's how Hiccup asked Astrid out to Hoco
