Dance Partner - B.B.

Imagine: Bucky signed himself up for a dance class after playing Just Dance with Peter and remembering how much he loved dancing in the 40s. The class is pretty chill with him being there and the teacher loves having him in class. It's become a therapy for him and he absolutely loves coming to class to see you. You're a professional dancer and have been backup dancers for many pop stars. Whenever you can, you come to one of the classes especially ones with Bucky in them.

"Okay, first group is with Bucky the old man leading and Matt with the two T's and regular Liam as his crew," Kyle, the choreographer/teacher, said.

"REGULAR LIAM!" People teased as the three went out to the open dance floor.

The rest of the class is close to the walls giving whoever is performing enough room.

"You guys sure you want me leading?" Bucky asked.

"Yes!" The class said.

"You heard them! You're a great dancer and people need to know that! So get your ass front and center! Dance away your troubles, Bucky!" Kyle inspired.

Everyone cheered them on and you were really excited to see Bucky dance. The three got into positions and joked with each other waiting on the song to play. Kyle has a cameraman ready to film for a video to post on his channel. Bucky usually opts out to do a video but seeing you on the sidelines cheering him on he didn't care as much and he got a boost of confidence.

"Start the music! Roll the camera!" Kyle yelled and the music started playing.

Bucky and the guys backing him up started dancing to Taki Taki by DJ Snake (featuring Selena Gomez). He had a smile on his face as he danced and his confidence was real high. It felt amazing to him. He's usually staying in the back but one day Kyle just made Bucky dance beside you in the front of the room. He's been up there ever since and right beside you when you're there.

The camera was following Bucky around capturing the whole dance and how much fun he's having. All Bucky could think about was moving his body to the music and you.

The class is 18-28 year olds. Everyone has easily gotten along with Bucky and even tease him at times. It's much more lighthearted than at the tower when everyone is on edge for some unknown reason and all the time. The class is his happy place and getaway from all the drama and bullshit that the tower brings and also the missions he goes on. Bucky hasn't even told anyone not even Steve about the dance class except Agent Hill to run it by her that it's okay for him to do it. She was all for him getting out and making new friends.

The dance finishes and Bucky dances his way to you since the song is still playing. You start dancing with him and he laughs. It's a genuine laugh. You wrapped your arms around his waist and he wrapped his arms around you.

"You did amazing, Buck," you said looking up at him.

"Thanks, Doll," he said with a smile on his face that he can't seem to get rid of if he tried.

The next group was called up and you guys watched with his arm around your shoulder. He is slightly sweaty and by slightly sweaty— really sweaty but so were you but you both didn't care cause you both put on deodorant today.

"Wanna get a smoothie after class?" You asked looking up at him.

"Hell yeah!" He said excitedly.

You guys cheered on your classmates and it was the younger ones in the class.

"Y/n, Mayo, and Davina!" Kyle called up.

"Knock em dead, Y/n," Bucky said letting you go.

You smiled at him and went out to the dance floor.

"I will forever be the Mayo Queen!" Maya said dancing her way out with Davina.

Maya and Davina made you front and center. The music started playing and you three started dancing. You guys hit every move perfectly and Bucky was the loudest one cheering you on which made Matt and him see who could be the loudest. You chuckled slightly hearing the two as you danced.

(Time skip)

"Yes! Fresh air!" Bucky said taking a deep inhale as you two got outside and you chuckled.

It's slightly cold but it feels amazing to the both of you. Bucky has his metal arm draped on your shoulders as the two of you go across the street to the Jamba Juice.

"It feels so nice," you said.

"It definitely does," Bucky said and he opened the door for you.

You walked in and he followed in after holding the door for a few others. You got in line and he stood beside you looking at the menu.

"What are you getting?" Bucky asked.

"Caribbean Passion, it's magical," you said as Matt and a couple others come into Jamba Juice.

"Then I guess I'll have one of those," Bucky said.

"You won't regret it," you said smiling.

You ordered for the both of you and paid before he could even get his wallet. You guys waited off to the side and Hey Ya! By OutKast started playing. A couple others in the class started dancing and so did you. Bucky got a huge grin on his face as you and Maya started dancing in the middle of Jamba Juice. Bucky and Matt joined in and you guys did some sort of shuffle and a shimmy. You guys synchronized together quickly and a couple people took a couple of snaps of the scene.

You four laughed as the song finished. You and Bucky got your smoothies and danced your way out. He has his arm draped back around you. You guys talked and mainly laughed for a bit before you both had to go.
