You and Bucky had finished a mission where he almost lost you. You didn't think you were gonna make it out either but yet here you are on a quinjet with Nick Fury flying it.

Two years back, Fury decided to have his own little team that's kinda branched off of Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. Your first ever mission with Fury was saving Bucky from Hydra. The team is just you, Bucky, and Fury and sometimes Maria Hill.

"I thought I was gonna lose you," Bucky whispered into your ear as you're leaning against him.

"I love you," you said looking up at the super soldier and taking his metal hand into your right hand.

He looked at you shocked and he sat there frozen.

"I thought I was gonna die and the only thing that I thought about was how I never got to tell you that I love you. I was gonna say something until we got back home but my plans seem to go to shit," you said.

Bucky placed his flesh hand on your cheek and pressed his lips against yours ever so slowly but the kiss need to be slow. It was longing too.

"I love you too, Doll," Bucky whispered parting away but pressing his forehead against yours.

You hear Fury laughing in the background and he said, "Coulson now owes me 50 bucks!"

You and Bucky chuckled into another kiss.

"Hey! You love birds better stop that, we're still on duty!" Fury joked looking back at you two.
