Military Reunion - S.S.

Chris Evans and I waited in this huge ass hangar with tons of military families who are waiting for their family members and friends. I'm waiting on my best friend, y/n y/ln. I wanna tell her I love her but I've so damn chicken to do so for the past three years. I remember the day I met her which was at a bar.

***flashback***

I saw this beautiful blonde wearing a little black dress and she's all alone at the end of the bar. I've been eyeing her ever since we got to this bar and trying to get the courage to say hi to her. I'm with the whole Marvel cast which is RDJ, Chris Evans, Scar Jo, Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Elizabeth Olson.

"Are you gonna go up there or not?" Anthony asked.

"I dunno," I said.

"Stop being a pussy and just go up and talk to her!" Jeremy said.

"Yeah, you fucking pussy," Evans said.

"Watch your fucking language, you asshat," I said standing up and taking a shot.

I go over to the blonde.

"Hey, can I buy you a drink?" I asked her.

"Eww, you are disgusting," she said and left the bar.

A group of guys started laughing while this one girl wearing skinny jeans and converse bursted out laughing at my defeat.

"Dude, Where's the wingman?" She asked. "That was just fucking embarrassing like I just... I just can't believe that happened. I feel for you."

She came over to me and put her arm around my shoulder.

"Know what, I'm your new wingman and my goal tonight is to get you a girl going home with you. It won't be me cause I don't know you," she said looking at me. "You're a complete stranger. I should be yelling stranger danger but I'm not gonna do that cause we have a mission to complete tonight."

"Come on, y/ln, we better get started with the shrimp," a big burly guy said and before I knew it I was taken out of the bar with a bunch of guys and this chick I just met who's now my wingman.

A couple fans came up to me and Chris. We signed some stuff and took pictures. My hands are a little shaky but I shrugged it off and put them in my pockets after I signed what they wanted.

The military finished their ceremony but I didn't see y/n in the group of soldiers neither her squadron of five and then the soldiers were released to meet their families. I immediately started looking for her cause I have to see her and I even lost Chris in the madness. I kept getting worried and nervous and anxious and a whole hell of a lot of emotions.

"Hey, dude, I can't find her," Chris said placing a hand on my shoulder and I frowned.

We decided to stay in one spot against the wall trying to call her. The crowds dissipated and it was us and the guys's families. Y/n's family doesn't know she's back cause she wants to surprise them and so she has me picking her up. It's been a good hour and she isn't here. I've talked with supervisors and volunteers but they don't have anything.

We then heard a helicopter land so we went out to the front of the hangar to see a helicopter. I see y/n finally and she sees me. She runs over to me dropping her bags down while I'm in shock and don't know what to do. She jumps me and wrapped her legs around my waist. She grabbed my face and smashes her lips against mine. It's was quick yet amazing. She pulled away and gave me a huge smile.

"I just realized something," y/n said.

"What?" I asked still holding her up.

"I love you," she said smiling so wide.

"Goddamn it, I was gonna tell you first!" I said and received a laugh from everyone around us.

"Snooze ya lose," she said.

"I love you so much," I said kissing her this time and a lot longer.

"That's adorable, I instagram live'd it," Chris said with his phone in hand.

"CHRISTOPER!!!!" Y/n yelled getting all embarrassed.
