Jeepney Crush

I was sitting at the edge of a jeepney, listening a music through my earphones while fixing myself. It was indeed a very long day and I ended up exhausted, just felt relief that I could go home.

And then a cute decent looking guy sat on the seat parallel to mine, I stopped myself from staring at him. His eyes were shut, and he's looking really tired. One by one, the passengers were all out, only me, him and the jeepney driver were left. 

"Miss, baka naman matunaw na yan sa titig mo?" I laugh hearing the driver, "Sa'n ka ba bababa?" He then asked.

"Ah, sa Bel-Air subdivision ako, kuya. Eh, siya po? Baka nakalagpas na 'to sa sana'y bababaan niya." I said.

"Eh- sana ginising mo."

"Ehhh, mukhang mahimbing po ang tulog eh, ako nalang po ang magbabayad sa kanya." I slide my butt at lumapit sa driver. I gave him  30 pesos and I slide back to my position. 

"Gwapo no? Crush mo?" I laugh once again, 

"Hihihihihihi, oo po. Cute eh." We both laugh, and I think that woke the guy up. I immediately fixed myself and look away. Kukuha na sana siya ng bayad niya when the driver said,

"Ah, binayaran ka na ng dalaga, iho. Sa kanya mo nalang ibigay yang bayad mo." I felt his stare, I look at him and smiled.

"Salamat." he handed me his fare while saying thanks. I accepted it with an awkward smile. Ugh! Why so cute?

"Iho, sa'n ka pala bababa? Pa-bel air pa 'to eh."

"Bel-Air din ako, kuya."

"Oh, ayos, saang kantong ba?"

"Sa unang kanto po." Oh? We are on the same street? I'm also on the first street. It's my first time seeing him, and it's impossible for him to live here, I mean-- I lived here for 15 years. Mas lalo pa akong nagulat nang sabay kaming pumara para bumaba. 

And we are heading on the exact same gate. Confused, I turned myself to face him.

"Ah, d-dito ka din?" He nod."Bahay namin to eh."

"Ah, seguro ikaw yung kapatid ni Nat?" Oh? He knows my older brother? Maybe they are classmates. Magsasalita na sana ako but my brother suddenly opened the gate and hug the cute guy, which--- left me confused.

"Oh, nandito na pala kayo, dongsaeng, this is Kent -- my boyfriend, babe, this is Kelay, my younger sister. Let's go, pasok na tayo." 

What?!
