Nini POV

It was the final day of vacation for me and Ricky, and as much as we loved living in our own world, we were excited to return to Salt Lake. Our flight was the next morning so we had one last day to spend ourselves. We decided to spend the final day walking around a Santa Barbara beach, just enjoying each other's company. We returned to the hotel around noon and we packed while dancing around the room to High school musical songs. As I picked up my bathing suit to put away, I realized that we had a few hours to kill, we were so ahead of everything. So I looked at Ricky who was humming softly and I said "Heyyy" he turned to me with the cutest smile on his face. "What's up baby?" I smile and I hold up my swim suit. "One more trip to the hot tub?" I say. He chuckles softly, reaching for his swim trunks. "You bet Nins."

I could literally just stay in Santa Barbara, in this hot tub with Ricky. The warm water relaxes every tense muscle in my body and I'm seated on Ricky's lap which makes me feel safe. His fingers massage the back of one of my shoulders, further relaxing me into him. "This feels familiar." I say to him. "You mean because we've done this at least 5 times since we've been here?" He says laughing into my neck. I swat at him laughing. "No, it just feels like something we've done before." He smiles against my skin. "Believe me Nins, I'd remember if I had a stunning girl sit on my lap in a hot tub." I turn to get a better look at his face, grinning at his facial expression. "It just feels like we've always been this close, even if we never thought of it as dating." He nods, looking off into the distance, then locking eyes with me. "Yeah unfortunately for me though I couldn't do this until last year." He says leaning close and kissing my neck. I sigh into him and smile at the bliss that I was in. "I probably wouldn't have pushed you away had you tried." I admit to him. "Good to know you didn't find middle school me repulsive." He says laughing hard. "You've always been my favorite." I turn and kiss his lips. I pull back and see his still-closed eyes and smile.

The afternoon was coming to an end and Ricky and I decided to order room service for our last night, because it was easier than going out. I ate my dinner at a record speed while Ricky ate slowly and laughed, because the idiot ordered ice cream for me at the same time as our dinner and it was already melting. Ricky eventually finished his dinner, and we sat against the head board on the bed, Ricky flipping through channels and me eating ice cream. "Okay I wanna marry this ice cream." I announce to Ricky. He chuckles, pushing his hair back in the way that makes me weak in the knees. "It's literally just vanilla baby." He says while grinning. "Nope. Shut up, best ice cream ever." He laughs, shaking his head. "Fine let me try some" he tells me, still staring at the TV. I grab a scoop on my spoon, moving it closer to his face for him to try. Ricky being Ricky though, turns his head yelling "ARTHUR IS ON? I LOVED THAT SHOW." This prompted ice cream all over his face. "Ricky!!" I say while doubling over laughing. He starts to laugh too in an adorable way and makes no effort to wipe the ice cream away from his face. I realize this could be interesting though and I move my body closer to him. He senses my change in mood and his smile slowly drops in anticipation as he realizes my close proximity to him. I lean closer and kiss the side of his face with ice cream all over it. I move my lips slowly, working from the side of his mouth up to his cheek. I feel him shudder, letting out a breath and gripping my leg. I move my lips behind his ear to his pulse point, kissing softly. I turn his head with one of my hands, granting more access to his neck as I suck and make my way back to his jaw. His body jolts as I tug at his hair lightly with one of my hands. When I get back to his lips, I stick my tongue out slightly, running it over his bottom lip. His lips part as he watches my movements. "Come here" he hoarsely whispers as I move back to look him in the eyes. His pupils are dilated and he watches as I climb onto his lap. His lips meet mine hungrily, and for the last time in our little world, we make love.

The next morning came too quickly, it was a mix of me and Ricky scrambling out of the hotel and saying goodbye to the beautiful city we spent our spring break in. We made it to LAX with plenty of time to spare, and as we stood in line to board I grabbed Ricky's hand. "Thank you for this incredible trip. It was just amazing." I say to him softly. He smiles down at me. "Even with everything that happened with Elliot?" I nod and move closer to him. He puts an arm around me, hugging me to his side. "Well not that part, but everything surrounding that was unforgettable." I say. I feel him kiss the top of my head. "You mean the literal world to me Nins." He says and I smile. "Now let's go home." He says, tilting my chin up to kiss me. I smile at him pushing my arms around him to hold him until our group starts to board. "Also" he whispers to me despite the loud airport. "You don't have to tell anyone about Elliot, that can just stay here in Santa Barbara." He finishes. I smile so gratefully up at him. "I might tell my girls, but I don't want it to be a big thing." He nods. "Understandable baby it's up to you."
