Yoongi was done with his shift one day, he had told Jimin that he needed to stay late for a staff meeting but what he was really doing was going with Ha-na to ring stores so he could finally find and hopefully buy an engagement ring for Jimin. As his graduation grew closer he was getting more nervous since it was almost time to propose and start their future. His graduation was just the start of many more milestones for the couple.
Ha-na made sure to take him to the places that she had gone to, stores that have affordable engagement rings and stores that she liked when she was searching for rings for her wife. The two went to two ring stores so far and spent about an hour and a half in each one but now they were in the third looking at simple rings like they have done the last two stores.
« What about this? » The man who worked at the store brought out some more rings for the two to look at, the man brought out a wooden box with more simplistic rings and right now he liked what he was seeing.
« Yeah I like this one, Ha-na what do you think? » He held up a ring after looking at all the others, it was really simple. It was a rose gold band with small diamonds. It was really pretty and small perfect if you don't want something shiny and big.
« You know what? That one is really pretty but look at this rose gold one. » Ha-na picked up a different ring to show him. Yoongi did like the one she picked out and knew that this was going to be the hardest decision ever and he couldn't pick one when all of them were really nice.
« This is such a hard decision like all the jewelry he has is silver and very simple, so i don't know if picking a rose gold ring would make it stand out too much. » He was focusing so hard on the rings because what if he gets the rose gold one and Jimin feels like it doesn't match and he doesn't like it so many factors were playing out in his mind at the moment.
« Well there are plenty of silver rings and honestly silver would look best for his skin tone trust me. » She set down the ring she was holding and picked up a silver one to show Yoongi, this one wasn't really that simple however it was so pretty and it caught her eye.
It was a big diamond, it wasn't huge but it looked really pretty, the band was like two thin bands intertwined together, one was scattered with little diamonds that shined under the lights. It looked so beautiful, he reached out and took it from Ha-na's hands. He couldn't explain it, no one could really explain what happened when he held that ring. He felt like as soon as that ring went into his hand that it was the one and nothing was going to top it he just knew and he didn't know why but if he didn't get this one then the whole proposal would not go well and the ring wouldn't be the perfect one.
« You okay? » She set down another ring she had picked up and gently touched his shoulder, she was going to ask what he thought but he looked completely out of it and stared down at the ring and she didn't even know what might be going through his head.
« Yeah uh I just I think. »
« That's the one. » As soon as he started to stumble over his words she knew that the ring in his hand was the one for Jimin and that's the same reaction she had when she found the ring for Su-ji.
« Yeah oh my god it's so beautiful. » He almost wanted to tear up because now it really became real for him he wasn't looking at rings online anymore the right ring was in his hand and he didn't want to put it down.
« It's perfect. » She waved for the jewler to come back over to them and he took the ring so that he could make it the perfect size. Yoongi found out Jimin's size by stealing one of his rings so he could size it at the store and make sure that the size was perfect.
The two walked away from the table after they paid for it to wait for the ring to be sized and they sat down at the chairs over by the window. Yoongi couldn't stop smiling and Ha-na noticed this, this was so exciting and she knew how excited yet nervous he was and this was her favorite part. He will propose, it will be beautiful, Jimin will say yes and it will be perfect.
« What if he says no? » Her thoughts were cut off by Yoongi's words, she looked over to him and saw him with his legs apart, elbows resting on them and his head hung low.
« What are you talking about? He will say yes, I have only met him once but he was so attached to you and when he asked me to get you I could just tell that you have each other and nothing could break you two apart. » She placed her hand on his back, rubbing gently she then leaned over to rest her cheek on Yoongi's shoulder continuing to rub on his back to try and calm him.
They stayed like this for a while as they waited for the ring to be done. They both looked up when they saw feet right in front of them, there stood the man that they were talking to before and he was holding a black box.
« Here is the ring Mr. Min, if you find it to not fit right just bring it back and we can resize it for you. » He handed the box over to Yoongi bowing slightly to the both of them before walking away to the counter to help more customers.
He just sat there looking down at the black velvet box, he couldn't believe that he never really thought about marriage and didn't think about it much until he met Jimin and now he was going to be married have a house and pets he was going to start a family.
« I can't believe I'm going to marry him. » He opened the box and the both of them gasped as they saw the beautiful diamonds shining, it was beautiful and he was ready to spend the rest of his life with Jimin even though he couldn't believe that he was able to.
« Now you just have to find a way to propose to him. » She clapped her hands swaying side to side happily as Yoongi closed the box.
« I actually have a plan for that, it's not unique but it will surely be romantic and I want you and Su-ji to be there when I do so I'll tell you when I'm doing it so you can be there. » She smiled so wide and clapped her hands again, she wasn't expecting for Yoongi to ask her and her wife to be there but now that he had said it she couldn't help but be excited.
« I'm so happy for you, I know we don't know each other really that well but I can't wait. » They both stood up, Yoongi put the box in his pants pocket and accepted a hug from Ha-na. She hugged him really tight and he smiled at how excited she was about this and knew that he was going to be friends with her for a really really long time.
