« Babe are you ready? We have to go. » Yoongi was in the bedroom waiting for Jimin who was still getting ready in the bathroom. They had a couple things planned today for their wedding, they kept getting closer to the day and they still had so much to do.
« Hold on! » Jimin yells, the two were supposed to go to cake tasting and suit renting today or at least picking something out to wear. It was a big day ahead of them and they would be late if Jimin took longer.
« We're going to be late. » Yoongi smiled because right after he said that the bathroom door swung open and Jimin came out looking worried.
« I don't even like cake, can we just have a lettuce wrap? » This made Yoongi laugh as he followed the younger out of the room and towards the front door so they could leave. Yoongi didn't really like cake either but that was the wedding tradition so they had to.
« Come on, it's just one day, it's one bite on our wedding day and we'll only be trying a couple samples and picking the design we want and then we can try on different outfits for the big day. » Yoongi grabbed his keys and opened the door letting Jimin leave before him locking the door behind them.
The two drove to the small bakery down the road that focuses on wedding cakes, Jimin just couldn't wait to get it done because he never really liked cake so he wasn't looking forward to it at all. The two walked into the bakery, it was cold which Jimin noticed as they went up to the front cashier. The lady smiled brightly at them and Jimin just let Yoongi talk and before he knew it they were being walked over to a table and her walking off to grab some of the samples.
« See this is fine. » Yoongi looked down at Jimin seeing the younger shiver a little, it was cold like really cold so Yoongi took off his jacket placing it over the younger's shoulder so he could warm up.
« Maybe I should have brought a jacket. » Jimin giggles putting his arms through the sleeves so he could really warm up and he loved that it smelled like Yoongi and that made him even warmer.
« I like when you wear my things so it's okay. » Jimin smiled and looked down trying to hide his blush as the lady came back with a long platter with different cake samples and the names of the cakes so they could easier pick one.
« Alright so here's the wedding cakes we have and once you pick one you like then come to the front we'll figure out a design and you'll be good to go for next month. » She smiles before leaving them to try the different kinds.
There were five different samples, there was a white cake that was just vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, and lemon, just simple cakes with nothing too wild on them.
« I don't know. » The two had tried all of the samples, now they just had to decide and Jimin was lost. He liked the chocolate, it was simple and most people liked it so that was a good choice but he also liked the vanilla which was also pretty popular.
« Yeah this is hard, chocolate is good but the red velvet tastes a little different and it makes it different and I like that one. » Already they weren't going to agree but Jimin was willing to go with whatever Yoongi wanted so it wasn't a big deal to him.
« Alright we can do red velvet, I mean it is good and most people like it but I don't know if it will work with the frosting, I don't like cream cheese frosting. » Jimin was right, if they chose the red velvet then they needed to have cream cheese frosting and he didn't know how he felt about that.
« Then we do chocolate, it's simple and easy and everyone will like it. » Yoongi suggested and the two grabbed another sample of the chocolate, trying it and deciding that was going to be their choice.
« But the white cake will work really well with the white frosting. » Jimin mentioned looking at the white cake sample. Jimin was so torn, he didn't even like cake but he wanted their wedding to be perfect and he wanted a gorgeous cake to go with the wedding.
« You can choose, I don't care which one. » Yoongi said and that made Jimin worried because he hated being the one to choose things so he just looked at Yoongi with a look making Yoongi nod and understand what the problem was.
« Okay let's just do white cake, it's simple traditional and it will look good with the frosting. » Yoongi decided to make Jimin nod his head with a smile looking down at the white cake in front of him.
So they chose the plain white vanilla cake so now it was time to go choose what they wanted the design to be. They walked up to the front where they saw the lady again who gave them their samples.
« Have you decided? » She smiled widely and looked between the two holding her clipboard so she could write down their order.
« Yes we are going to go with the vanilla white cake. » Yoongi was the one to speak as Jimin just grabbed Yoongi's arm and hid a little behind him.
« Alright so here's the book of designs we can do, the front pages are simple and the back has more elegant and wild concepts. » It was a small picture book, it didn't have a whole lot of pages but just enough for them not to feel overwhelmed. The two nodded and walked back to sit down and flip through the book.
« That ones cute and simple. » Jimin pointed and Yoongi stopped flipping the pages so they could look at it more. It was a three layer cake with pink flowers on the top and a little on the bottom to decorate. This really caught Jimin's eye and he liked it but Yoongi flipped through some more just to see the other options.
« What about this one? It has strawberries along the different layers and has red roses. » Jimin didn't know how he felt about the look, he liked the one he pointed at before.
« But I like the pink flowers and it has a cute design on the different layers. » Jimin made him flip back to the one he liked and pointed out before. Yoongi did like that one. It was simple and Jimin liked it so he couldn't really complain.
« Alright if you like that one then let's do it. » Jimin smiled, he was so excited because they now had a cake to go with their wedding and they were getting closer to getting done with the planning. The two got up and walked over to show the worker what they wanted.
She was shocked they were done so fast because usually the couple could never decide on something but they were different and they left to go on another adventure, their clothing. The next big thing was choosing their wedding attire which Yoongi knew this was going to be hard for them because he knew Jimin would want them to match and that wasn't a big deal but he was ready to spend hours at the suit place.
