After a couple hours the two were ready to get married. Jimin got so nervous as Su-ji was putting the finishing touches on his outfit. Yoongi was also finishing with getting his outfit on and Ha-na styling his hair. He was a little less nervous than Jimin but he still was a bit on edge knowing that he would need to say his vows and tell Jimin how much he loves him which wasn't that hard but saying it in front of people made him stress just a little.
The guests were all waiting, they were talking and getting to know each other. Su-ji and Ha-na both got dressed and did their hair and makeup as well, they were both wearing light pink dresses to match the colors of the wedding no matter how much Su-ji didn't want to wear a dress she did it knowing that's what Jimin wanted for this wedding. What Jimin felt weird about was when Su-ji walked out of the room saying she'd be right back moments before Jimin was supposed to walk down the aisle, this got him really anxious but she did come back like she promised after making a few adjustments.
« Are you ready? » Jimin nodded but when he did he had so many other questions like was Su-ji walking him down the aisle? Where was he supposed to stand, was his vows okay? He just didn't know but held onto her arm anyway as they walked down the hallway towards the venue outside.
The fresh air was what Jimin needed, they had a bit to walk before they saw the guest and when they rounded the corner Jimin almost started crying. At the beginning of the aisle there was Jimin's mom, standing with a smile on her face watching her son walk closer to her. She covered her mouth with one of her hands seeing her son, the one she hasn't seen in so long. It was so emotional for everyone and she started to tear up just a bit.
Su-ji walked Jimin up to her letting go of Jimin and walked down to meet her wife at the end of the aisle standing on the side Jimin will be watching what was going on. Jimin did the first thing he could think of and he hugged her, she instantly accepted and hugged him back releasing a little bit of tears.
« Mom. » Jimin whimpered against her shoulder as he held her tight not realising how bad he needed her hug, he knew now why people always called their mom because this hug made his heart slow down and he wasn't anxious anymore as he was hugging her and it made him feel so much better.
« Come on Jimin, no tears it's your big day. » She pulled away from the hug and gently dabbed his tears off of Jimin's cheeks making sure not to ruin any of the makeup.
She turned around to face down the aisle holding her arm out which Jimin took and looked down to finally see Yoongi who was standing there next to Ha-na. Yoongi thought Jimin was so beautiful, so, so beautiful he almost started crying right then and there. He cleared his throat and looked down not being able to look at Jimin because he knew he would have to cry. He took a step forward so that he could take Jimin from his mother, he did a quick bow to Jimin's mom as he took Jimin's hand and took a step back to the marriage officiant who was going to marry them. His mom then went to go sit in one of the chairs, Jin and Namjoon were also there and were sitting on the opposite side of the aisle smiling at the couple.
« You're gorgeous. » Jimin blushes at this and holds on Yoonig's hands, he squeezed his hands to let Yoongi know that he was nervous and Yoongi understood, squeezed his hands back to let him know that he was okay.
The officiant introduced the couple and started the ceremony, Jimin took a deep breath and just looked in Yoongi's eyes knowing that this was what he was waiting for. His heart was racing but he tried to drown himself in officiant's words. However now it was time for their vows which Jimin was very nervous for because his vows were something he wasn't expecting to say in front of his new friends and his mom and brother.
« I love you, I said this last week, even yesterday and I will keep telling you how much I love you every single day even into our old age. I had a really, really tough life, I never thought that one day I would date someone let alone stand here and say vows to the love of my life yet here I am. I was so different back then and if you were to tell me two years ago that I'd be getting married I would laugh and say that I would rather die but here I stand not knowing what I'd do if I wasn't standing here and telling you that I love you and letting you put a ring on me. You also hate saying or hearing that you saved me but you did, I know you don't like taking responsibility but you did save me and I need you to know that because we met and started dating when I was sick and dying. You were there for me through my rough times and even caught me when I fell. You were there when my one and only friend left me and if you weren't there I wouldn't be standing here right now. When I was forced to stay in my room with a feeding tube you were there to hold my hand, I was terrified and I wouldn't admit it however I was so scared and having you there made everything better. And the days where I was in my room I really got to know you and I fell in love with you. Our first kiss was in my room and it changed my views about love and made me realize that it wasn't scary and that I needed you. You would have left me when we got caught and you didn't, you risked getting fired to be with me which is such a hero move, so I do say you saved me and I will continue to say that throughout our lives because it's true. You are my hero and I love you and I know you will help me everytime I stumble and I'm thankful for that. » Jimin couldn't even look at Yoongi because tears were flushing from his eyes down his cheeks, he was almost sobbing as he finished his vows. No one expected him to say all that and it made Jimin so nervous to look out and see what Ha-na and Su-ji were thinking about what he had said knowing that his past was now out in the open to everyone.
Yoongi took a deep breath trying to hold his own tears because he still had to say his own vows and he didn't want to be a crying mumbling mess. Yoongi cleared his throat and wiped a stray tear off of his cheek before starting.
« I love you Jimin, I am so proud of you and as I stand here I just see how much you have grown. I am so proud of you as you're being more open to people and I love how much you changed from the moment I met you. You were so different when we first met, I do want to mention that you used to be so confident, I know now that you used that to hide your true feelings but the confidence you portrayed was very hot and caught my attention but once you started being more open I fell in love with you even more. When you started opening up about your true feelings you let me protect you and you let me care for you and for the first time you just let your guard down and got to relax. I love you every single day and I don't like saying that I saved you but I do know that I made you feel comfortable around someone and I let you open up because you never got to really do that before. I'm so excited to marry you and wake up to see your beautiful face and your cute little nose and I know that if things happened differently I don't know what I would do without you right by my side. » Now it was time for Yoongi to start really crying, he wiped some of his tears off of his face and looked up at Jimin who was still crying. Even Jin, Ha-na and Jimin's mom were crying as they watched them exchange their vows.
« Do you Yoongi take Jimin to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward in sickness and in health to love and cherish; from this day forward until death do you part. » Yoongi was still wiping the tears from his own cheek knowing he was ruining his makeup but he really didn't care at that moment.
« I do. » Yoongi smiled.
« Do you Jimin take Yoongi to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward in sickness and in health to love a cherish; from this day forward until death do you part. » Jimin took a deep breath reaching out to grab Yoonig's hands again since they had to let go of each other for their vows.
« I do. » Now it was time to exchange rings, what they ended up wanting was for Jin to walk down and hand them their rings however when they looked over wasn't just Jin there also was Jimin's brother walking down the aisle smiling at his brother, he was so proud of Jimin and helped Jin hand them the rings which made Jimin get so much more emotional knowing that his brother was proud and wanted to be apart of this special moment for him.
They placed the rings on each other, it felt so weird as they slid the rings on each other because now it was official and that was just a crazy thought for the both of them. They looked in each other's eyes as the officiant continued with his little speech to end the ceremony.
« By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husbands, you may now kiss. » The officiant stepped back and allowed the newly wed couple to kiss.
They were so ready to kiss, Yoongi gently held on Jimin's face making sure he didn't hurt the younger as they kissed. Jimin gripped Yoongi's suit jacket as their lips gently touched. It was gentle and soft, it wasn't rough as they just held each other. After they parted they rested their foreheads on each other just enjoying their time as official husbands which was a crazy thought to everyone.
« I love you and I'm so proud of you. » Yoongi said for just Jimin to hear, they stood there for a little while, which allowed Jimin's mom to take pictures of them before they went to have their meal and the reception.
