The day before the wedding was the rehearsals, the couple went to the wedding venue to start rehearsing everything, they went into the building where they would have their reception and where the two would get ready for their big day.
They both met up with Ha-na and Su-ji at the venue and the four of them walked around the forest area waiting for the other couple to come meet them. Yoongi and Jimin decided that instead of having a lot of groomsmen they were just going to choose one of their friends. Yoongi has already decided that Jin was going to be his best man, he knew him the longest and he knew Jin would be amazing at it. Of course Jimin chose Su-ji, the past couple weeks were enjoyable with her, she is the only other person other than Yoongi to really get him to open up, he hasn't told her everything but they bonded over therapy so that's why he chose her.
Also in the reception building there were tables set up with the types of flowers Jimin really wanted and the place was beautiful. Of course the reception room was small since this venue catered to smaller weddings which was what they needed.
They went through their day practicing what was going to happen, where everyone was going to be and then they all went home ready for the next day. Jimin was really excited but when Yoongi and him got home he got really nervous as he saw a big bag of stuff he was going to bring to the venue.
« Hey Jimin, we got home an hour ago and you haven't stopped pacing around the living room. » Yoongi started to read a book at the dining room table when he noticed that Jimin hasn't sat down the whole time they have been home and he's looking really nervous which concerns Yoongi a little bit.
« Tomorrow is a big day, I've written my vows and I think they're okay. I also hope I still fit in the suit I got, what if I trip. Wait, my mom has to walk me down the aisle right? Fuck we shouldn't have picked this date it was way too soon, why did we think we could plan a whole wedding in just a month? » Jimin was breathing really heavy, Yoongi had set his book down and knitted his eyebrows looking at Jimin freaking out.
« Babe everything will be okay, I bet your vows are awesome, and don't worry okay? Everything is perfect. » He tried to calm him down but it didn't seem to work, he was kind of anxious as well but he was so ready for this wedding but he did understand what Jimin was feeling.
« I just don't know, how could it go well? We don't have a lot of guests, I'm nervous about saying my vows out loud, and we aren't going on a honeymoon, that's what normal people do after weddings right? How are we ready? » Jimin stopped walking right in front of the dining room table breathing really heavily as he ran his fingers through his hair avoiding eye contact with Yoongi.
« Babe come here for a second. » Yoongi motioned for him to go over and sit down at the seat right next to him, he had something for Jimin. He was going to tell him right after their wedding but Jimin was really stressing and having a hard time and he did not want Jimin to feel this way.
« I know that this whole wedding thing is stressful also for the reason that we chose a date so soon but today our rehearsal went really well, everyone knows where they are supposed to be so nothing can go wrong. » He grabbed Jimin's chair and scooted him closer to him looking into his eyes and smiling.
« I just think that this is going too fast don't you think? » Jimin's cheeks were getting a little pink as he continued to freak out, Yoongi remained calm because he knew Jimin was having a mini panic attack so he gently started to rub Jimin's leg keeping himself calm knowing that it will calm the younger down.
« Take a deep breath baby, I'm here for you. » Jimin closed his eyes and tilted his head down holding Yoongi's hand as soon as he felt Yoongi reach out to him.
« Sorry I'm just, this is a lot for me. » Yoongi just nodded and rubbed his thumb across the back of Jimin's hand calming him down a little or at least trying to.
« I know babe, I know this is a lot, we are getting married, you'll be Min Jimin my husband and that's a lot but I need you to know that I'm here right by your side forever. » Jimin wanted to cry as he looked at Yoongi but he took a deep breath and looked up at him.
« Also I have something for you, I was supposed to surprise you after the wedding but since you're stressing out I'm going to give you the surprise now so we can enjoy the rest of our night. » Jimin knitted his eyebrows together, he wasn't expecting this but he just watched Yoongi get up and go over to the fridge grabbing a white envelope that was sitting at the top. Jimin was confused but when the older walked back he held out the envelope so that Jimin would take it.
« What is it? » Jimin asked as he grabbed the envelope from his fiancé's hand looking confused at him.
« Open it, you'll like it I promise. » Jimin was trying to think of what it could be, he looked down at the envelope and opened it reaching in to grab two pieces of paper. As soon as Jimin saw what was in the envelope his mouth opened with surprise and looked up at Yoongi with a shocked look.
« Are you serious? » Jimin looked back down, in his hands were two tickets to Italy. Jimin always wanted to travel outside of the country but now those wishes are becoming reality.
« Yeah, you were right, how could we get married with no honeymoon? I planned this a while ago, Ha-na helped me pick the location and we got everything booked and ready to go. We'll leave the next day after tomorrow, I hope this makes you feel less stressed. » Jimin wanted to cry, Yoongi has done so much for him this whole time that they have been together. He doesn't even know what to say, he just sets the tickets on the table and leaps forwards to engulf the older in a hug.
« I can't believe it. I really can't. » Jimin wanted to cry as the two were hugging, Yoongi genly gripped his waist and kept him close.
« You deserve a good vacation, I also need days off work. » He was right, they both needed a vacation, they needed to leave the country and work on themselves as a couple before going back into their stressful life.
This got Jimin's mind off the wedding a little bit, Yoongi explained what he had already booked. He showed Jimin the resort they were staying in, the beaches they would go to, the restaurants they would eat at and even the museums and art galleries. He had everything planned with the help of Ha-na of course. They talked for a long time about their trip, what they would pack and what they were going to see when they got there. They talked for so long that once they were finished talking it was already time to go to bed.
Jimin stopped being nervous, they both took a shower together one last time as fiancés before going to bed. Ready for their wedding that was happening in less than 24 hours.
