Yoongi took a deep breath as he stood in front of Dr. Lee's office door. He closed his eyes as he felt his heart beat in his chest because if he messed this up or said the wrong thing then Dr. Lee would find out about his and Jimin's relationship and he could get fired. A lot was resting on his shoulders and he knew he promised Jimin this one thing so he would have to at least try to talk to Dr. Lee about it.
It took him a lot of time to muster the courage and actually knock on the door. He felt like he was about to throw up and he was scared with how fast the office door opened and revealed Dr. Lee who was fixing his tie for god knows what reason but he couldn't really focus on that.
« Ah Yoongi, come in want some tea? » The doctor opened the door more so that Yoongi could walk into the office while pointing to the small table which held some mugs with tea bags and a hot water dispenser but Yoongi shook his head to refuse the tea that was offered to him.
« No actually I came to talk to about o-one of the patients here. » He tried not to stutter, he really did but he was sweating when he sat down on one of the chairs in front of Dr. Lee's desk hoping and praying that he wouldn't say or do the wrong thing.
« Is there an issue? Is there someone breaking the rules of the clinic. » Oh how ironic of him to say something like that because in fact both Yoongi and Jimin were breaking one of the rules in the clinic but it wasn't about that and he didn't even want to think about that right now.
« No, No one is breaking the rules I just have something to recommend and talk about this with you. » Yoongi watched as Dr. Lee walked around the desk to sit in his spot moving a bottle of water out of the way to give his full attention to Yoongi.
« Of course, go ahead and I'll listen. » He sat back in his chair looking over to Yoongi who was literally almost shitting himself but Dr. Lee couldn't tell.
« So, I want to start off by saying that this patient is doing a whole lot better. He has came up to me personally and we have both talked about this route that he can go down. » Yoongi just started with that, he really didn't want to fuck this up at all and he thinks he is doing pretty good.
« And may I ask who this patient is? Just so I can get an idea of the situation. » This was the moment that Yoongi would fuck up but if he just took things slow then everything would turn out okay.
« Um, Park Jimin. I know he's had some rough patches while he has stayed here but I really think he has turned around and is doing so much better. Me and him have been talking and he expressed to me that this program could work for him. » He had to stop to breathe looking over to Dr. Lee who seemed understanding. He didn't look suspicious of anything, everything was going smoothly and he was waiting for Yoongi to continue with what he was saying.
« What program was he thinking about going into? » Dr. Lee was just trying to get an idea of what was going on and how this involved him.
« Well I mentioned that there was a program in which he can go home, be at home and have a doctor come by every once in a while to make sure he is on track. I told him that he would actually need to try and get better and if he isn't then he needs to come back. » Yoongi bit his lip when he saw Dr. Lee shift in his seat. It was a bit concerning because he looking up as if he was thinking before leaning forward and resting his elbows on his desk.
« So you have gone through everything with him? Like if he does come back things would be a little different? If you can't keep up outside the clinic then he would come back into a different world. » This was what Yoongi was afraid of, if Jimin couldn't keep up then things would get a lot worse and he would have to a lot more and pretty much suffer.
« Well no but I think that it would be good for him to get out of here and try things out on his own. He really wants this. » Yoongi leaned a little forward and watched as Dr. Lee picked up his pen and started tapping it on the desk.
« He needs to know what would happen if he has to come back, there will be stricter rules set for him and things will be different and he wouldn't have the freedoms like he has right now. He needs to know this before he decides to go through with this program. » Yoongi nodded his head in understanding because he knew if Jimin were to fail he would get himself into a situation that he won't want to be in.
« I know but I just wanted to bring this to you to let you know how Jimin is feeling and this might be something that he wants to do. » Now he felt like he was in trouble but he wasn't really he wasn't at all and Dr. Lee just wanted to let him know what he was getting Jimin into.
« Okay well if this is true I want to talk to Jimin about this issue but thank you for coming to me to talk about this instead of going straight into the program, and talking with Jimin because some of these patients seem lost and I'm glad that I can count on you to make sure everyone feels comfortable. » Yoongi was happy that his boss said that, of course the only patient he talks to is Jimin but it's nice to hear that.
« I understand, and I hope one day I can do something better once I become a doctor, I feel like I could do so much more and help out more. » This was true, he could do a lot more once he's a doctor and he can't wait but he's happy he could help Jimin even though he isn't really qualified,
« I believe in you Yoongi, I appreciate your determination and your positive views. I'll talk to Jimin let him know everything that can happen and I'll get back to you with what is going to happen since you brought this to my attention. » Yoongi wanted to smile really bad, he did it. Well he didn't do anything yet but he was one step closer to getting Jimin out of here, one step closer to getting to be able to hold Jimin all he wants and to cuddle him to sleep and stay with him all night long.
« Thank you so much, I should leave now I have some work to finish up on. » The two both stand up meeting their hands in the middle to shake on the talk that they just had and now Yoongi was smiling, it was subtle but he was.
« Have a good rest of your day Yoongi. » The two had their last final goodbyes and the younger left the room and felt really good about their talk that they had.
