«98» The apartment

Before the couple knew it, it was the weekend, it was the day Yoongi was going to take Jimin back to his apartment. Jimin could barely sleep because he couldn't keep his emotions in check. He took a shower before Yoongi, however Yoongi sat the entire duration of the shower sitting on the counter. Jimin begged him to stay in the bathroom, he didn't want Yoongi to leave his side.

Jimin finished up in the shower and the two switched, Yoongi climbed into the shower letting Jimin get dressed in the steamy room. He was shaking from his nerves, he was bouncing his leg up and down in anticipation. He has never been this nervous for something before, this was a new experience for him.

Yoongi didn't know why Jimin was so nervous, there wasn't anything to be nervous about but he didn't want to push the younger because he was afraid he'd start freaking out. With that being said his shower was short and he got dressed as Jimin sat on the counter.

« Are you ready to go? » Yoongi asked as he slid a t-shirt over his body, running his fingers through his hair. He helped Jimin down when he nodded, gently grabbing his waist and making sure that he was safe on the ground before he let go.

« I mean no but I guess we are going to have to. »

The drive took about 10 minutes but for Jimin it felt like the drive was never ending yet before he knew it they were pulling into the apartment complex. A feeling of overwhelming anxiety flushed over his body as Yoongi pulled into the parking spot right next to the entrance of Jimin's old building. Yoongi knew how nervous the younger man was so when he parked the car and turned the car off he allowed them to breathe and just sit in silence before they go and get his things.

There was a lump in Jimin's throat so when he went to go speak it was almost like he couldn't, there was a turning feeling in his stomach and he felt like he was about to throw up. Once he was ready, well as ready as he could be he unbuckled his seatbelt and looked over at Yoongi with a pale face, his face was drained of color as he let his nerves take over him.

« I love you. » Those were the first words spoken between the two and Yoongi wanted to make sure Jimin knew that he was still loved no matter what.

Yoongi didn't know why Jimin was so nervous, what was he going to see? Was it a mess or was there things that Jimin wanted to hide from the younger. Jimin opened the door and grabbed the keys to his apartment out of his pocket before shutting the door behind him letting Yoongi sit there alone in silence.

Jimin kept moving the keys in his hands to keep his mind busy, Yoongi finally got out of the car, he was going so slow with everything he did because he knew if he grabbed Jimin and hauled them up to the apartment then maybe Jimin would freak out more and maybe he would even have a panic attack from all the emotions running through his head.

« Come on Jiminie. » Yoongi spoke softly, he held out his hand so that Jimin could take it which he did after standing there for a couple more seconds.

Soon the two were standing right in front of the door, Jimin remembers seeing this door on the rare times he left his apartment but now it's different. Now he stands there with more confidence, he felt safe and he knew that now nothing bad could happen and now everything going forward will have a better outcome so now with these new thoughts in his head Jimin placed the key in the door and opened it. He looked up at Yoongi one last time before he opened the door slowly, taking a deep breath before pushing it even more and walking inside. It was cold, actually freezing, it was obvious that the heat hadn't been turned on in such a long time however Jimin doesn't remember the last time the heat was even on or if he even knew how to turn on the heat because he'd just let it be cold. Yoongi came in behind him and flipped the light up seeing Jimin's shoulders visibly tense up when light spread across the whole room revealing the painful existence Jimin used to live in.
