Yoongi couldn't fall asleep, he was tired from their walk earlier but he couldn't close his eyes and drift off. He held Jimin in his arms with their legs intertwined, every once in a while he would kiss Jimin's forehead and run his fingers over his cheeks and back to relax him. He was nervous because of what he was planning, of course Ha-na was going to help him with this next step but it might take months to come up with and might take months to do but he was willing to do this next step for Jimin.
When he really thinks about it, he's nervous for the future. He knows Jimin is ready and he really found that out today when they were talking about children. He wants kids with Jimin but it seemed like the younger was a lot more ready and he seemed excited to jump into having kids but it just made him scared. He feels like they were still young, Yoongi just got a step up at his job and they aren't even married yet they technically just got engaged. He knew he needed to talk to Jimin because he couldn't sleep thinking about it and knew talking to him would be the healthier option.
He does want to live in a house with Jimin, he wants two kids and maybe a dog. That was a future he wanted the most but again he felt like Jimin was going too fast. He got a headache thinking about it and didn't feel Jimin roll over off his arm until he went to go run his hands through the younger's hair and saw he had moved. He adjusted himself so that Jimin's back was against his chest them now both on their side, he wrapped his arms around his waist and buried his face into Jimin's back.
He never fell asleep but pretty soon Jimin woke up, he felt the younger stretch and turn around to face Yoongi. He could tell that Yoongi never fell asleep or if he had he woke up long ago. He kissed his lips before sighing, laying his head right on Yoongi's chest making the older turn so he was on his back.
« Hi sleepy head. » Yoongi giggled, hugging Jimin closer to him rubbing his back.
« Are you not tired? » Jimin asked and looked up resting his forehead on Yoongi's chin feeling super warm and comfortable.
« No I guess I wasn't. » This made Jimin pout because he looked dead tired before he took a nap and even right now he was confused on why he hadn't fallen asleep.
« You look so tired, baby you need to get some sleep. » Yoongi rolled onto his back bringing Jimin onto his bare chest playing with his shirt.
« I don't feel like sleeping, just have a lot on my mind I guess. »
« What do you mean? »
« You know how earlier we were talking, you mentioned kids, I do want kids with you of course I do but I just feel like everything is moving so fast don't you think we should focus on a wedding? » Yoongi didn't want to look down at Jimin because he was afraid that he was upset by his words so he just looked up at the ceiling.
« I also want kids with you, I was just saying what we'd be like with kids I didn't say I wanted kids right away. I agree we still need to plan a wedding, move to a house and get a dog before we think about taking care of an infant. We also need to have the conversation about whether we adopt or find someone to carry our child. » Jimin knew a thing or two, he never thought about his future before he met Yoongi but throughout this time he knew that the kid talk would be serious and a needed conversation.
« That honestly makes me feel a bit better. » Yoongi sighed, he had nothing to worry about, Jimin was on the same page and knew they would need to adopt or surrogate conversation before they jump into anything because either way it's going to be a lot of money.
« Is that why you couldn't sleep? You thought I wanted to have kids before our wedding? Honey one step at a time please. » Jimin giggled placing a small kiss right on Yoongi's chest in between his pecs.
« I love you so don't stress about things and instead talk to me like we are now, I won't be upset if you want to slow things down even more. I want you to be as comfortable as I am in this relationship. » He propped himself up so that he could place one more kiss on Yoongi's neck cuddling up to him after.
« You're right, having a conversation is better than staying silent but promise me if you feel the same tell me and I won't get mad either. » He reached his hand to grab Jimin's, he was so happy that they talked and that they both were on the same page it made him feel like a weight was lifted off his shoulders.
« Of course I will, we need to stop hiding things from each other and start talking because that's the only way this relationship will stay strong. » It wasn't like they were hiding anything from each other, now every time he has a bad day he tells Yoongi and lets him know so he won't not rush him or force him to do anything. The only thing Yoongi hides are his surprises, like him proposing and of course he wouldn't let them take too much of his time so he can be with Jimin.
« I love you Jimin. »
« I love you too babe, now go to sleep since you need a nap. » The two kiss and Jimin goes back to lay down on Yoongi's chest so the older could sleep but it was getting closer to dinner time however Jimin would eat once his financé fell asleep.
