Family Reunion

Kurapika POV

"Leorio i'm nervous."

He looked at me and buttoned up his shirt, "Why are you nervous?"

I sighed and leaned against the door, "Because I never met your family." He walked past me and into the kitchen, "You don't have to worry. I'm sure my mom will love you."

"What about your dad?"

"Well....."

I crossed my arms, "So you don't know if your dad will like me?" He grabbed his tie off the counter, "My dad's an ass. I'm sure the rest of my family will though, you're very easy to love." He kissed my cheek and walked into the living room.

I rolled my eyes and followed him, "How many people will be there?"

"My siblings, parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and my siblings significant others. So basically like any family reunion."

"That sounds like a lot of people."

"No really, just twenty some people, maybe thirty. Are you ready to go?"

I shook my head, "No, I'll go get dressed. Should I wear something masculine or-" He kissed my cheek, "You should wear whatever you want."

"Okay you ready?"

I nodded, "Yes. No. I don't know let's just go."

Before Leorio could knock someone opened the door for him, "Leorio!" He was surprised when the woman immediately hugged him, "I missed you so much!"

He hugged her back, "Missed you too ma."

"We've all been so worried about you since you left, we thought you died! But then you bought us a new house so we wouldn't have to live in such a bad neighborhood! And- who's this?"

I waved at the woman awkwardly, "Hi."

Leorio wrapped his arms around my shoulders, "Ma this is Kurapika, my fiancé."

She gasped and looked back at him, "Te vas a casar y no llamaste! ella es tan bonita y-" Leorio stopped her, "Let me try that again. Ma this is Kurapika, my soon to be husband."

She gasped again then smiled, "Your pronto marido. Leorio I'm still so happy that you found someone even if their a guy." She looked at me and smiled, "A very beautiful one at that."

I nodded, "Thank you."

She stepped back from us, "Let's go inside. So you can meet the family and you can see them again."

Leorio held my hand and smiled at me, "What did I say."

I giggled, "I guess you were right. Now let's go inside! I actually want to meet your brothers." He chuckled and shook his head, "No you don't."

"Yes I do! Come on!"
