Valentine's Day pt.3

Kurapika POV

I took a bite of my food, "So what are we going to do after this?"

Leorio shrugged, "Well we watched a movie, now we're having dinner, and maybe we could go to the bar of you're okay with a couple of drinks."

I leaned forward, "What about the casino by our old apartment?" Leorio smiled, "Well look who's feeling dangerous because you know I probably will spend all my money on gambling because I might have a small addiction."

I chuckled, "You better not lose all our money."

"What? I'm a great gambler! Except for that one time during the hunters exam.....but she was playing a mind trick on me. It was full on mental torture." He mumbled.

"Yeah that kind of sucked but can we not talk about it because the more I think about it the more I want to breakup with you."

He laughed, "I completely understand why. But I'm not feeling the casino. I have something else planned though."

I smiled, "What is it?"

"Nothing dirty, but I'm 'hundred percent sure you'll love it." He grabbed my hand, "Can I have a kiss?"

I tilted my head, "I don't know? Can you?" Leorio chuckled, "May I have a kiss?"

"You may."

He leaned over a kissed me for a second or two before pulling away with a smile, "You're so beautiful."

"I know."

His eyes widened, "Well look who's being all confident."

"I've always been confident, at least about my looks." Leorio chuckled, "I know Sunshine, and it's one of the many things I love about you."

"One of the many things I love about you is that you love all my confidence. And just love me in general, but I'm pretty sure I love you more than you can comprehend."

"Is that so?" Leorio raised an eyebrow, "Is it because I'm not use to human affection because my dad was a piece of shit?"

I sat back, "I was going to say because you're one of the only people who I have left but that works too. But not trying to get sappy but I would like to thank you."

He sat back, "For what?"

"Introducing me to a new family. You're mom and siblings are all amazing people, and you're amazing. I'm so grateful that I met you, and you helped me through a lot. Now I'm confident about other things than my looks, I haven't had a suicidal thought for awhile, and I'm not letting myself waste away anymore. I'm so happy that I met you and I can't wait till we're married."

Leorio smiled, "I can't wait either and yeah, I'm fucking awesome."

"Oh so now you're the one who's being confident, hypocrite." I laughed. Leorio shrugged, "What can I say? Im not lying."

"I guess you aren't."
