Rainy Days

Kurapika's POV

I sighed and looked at Leorio, "I'm bored."

"There isn't anything to do Sunshine, it's raining outside." He pointed out the window before he continued to fill out his paperwork.

"I know, but there has to be something to do while the kids are at school."

Leorio turned and smiled at me, "Go play with Lucy. She probably misses you."

"Leo, she's sleeping." I groaned.

"Well there isn't much to do is there then?"

I glared at him, "Fine. I'll just entertain myself."

Leorio chuckled, "Doing what? You don't even know how to pleasure yourself."

I rolled my eyes, "I'll find something. Like cooking or maybe cleaning that nasty ass room of ours."

"You should clean the boy's room. It smells like sweat and tears, literally."

"Your office smells like coffee, and smoke."

"Well I'm not in there twenty-four seven am I?" I sighed, "I guess not. Why do you even work in the living room anyway?"

"To be closer to you." He flashed me a smile before turning back to his clipboard.

"I doubt that. You don't even talk to me when you're doing paperwork."

"Awww poor baby, he doesn't want me to make money so we can take care of ourselves and our current and maybe future kids."

"Yeah yeah whatever. But I'll have you know that I'll get a job one day, to help you and our family."

He smiled while continuing his work, "How sweet. You're like a Sour-patch Kid, but a full grown man....almost full grown. Haven't hit your growth spurt yet, judging by your height and other things."

I scoffed, "Sorry my family didn't have great DNA."

"Are you saying your dad had a small dick too? That's a weird thing to know Sunshine." Leorio chuckled.

"I'm not saying that. Why would someone know that? Gross."

I could see a small smile on Leorio's face, which made me giggle.

"What are you so giggly about?"

"Your stupid smile."

"You think my smile is stupid eh?" Leorio tackled me to the couch causing me to laugh hard enough to cry.

"Leorio! Get off of me!" I laughed.

"Not till you say I have a nice smile. No, an outstanding smile!"

"Leorio!" I continued to laugh as he tickled me.

"Say it you twink!"

I laughed loudly, "Okay! Okay! You have an outstanding smile! Now get off of me before I kill you!"

Leorio got off of me but positioned himself above me only being held up by his arms and knees, "Was that a threat? Wow Sunshine, I expected better from you."

I smiled at him, "Shouldn't have."

Leorio gave me a surprised smile, "Why you little shit! Come here!"

He tackled me again but this time lifting me up to sit on his lap, but I still laughed.

I opened my eyes and saw Leorio smiling slightly.

"What are you looking at asshole?" I questionably laughed.

"I just realized how absolutely in love I am with you. Your laugh just made the room shine."

I playfully hit his arm, "Stop being so cheesy you big goof."

"I'm being serious. Your laugh just made my week a hundred times better." I could tell by the look in his eyes that he meant it. He looked so in love when he looked at me and I always wonder if I get the same look when I see him.

He smiled, "I love you so much Sunshine."

"Love you too." He kissed me and I kissed him back, I knew it only was seconds before he pulled away but it felt like hours, the best hours of my life.

Leorio pulled away, "Alright now get off my lap I have stuff to do!"

I chuckled, "Okay, I'll go make you snack. Love you."

"Love ya too."
