Drunk

Third Person POV

Kurapika sighed and looked at the bedroom door, there was a lot of talking and laughing from the living room because Leorio had over his friends from med school, and they were talkative.

Kurapika shook his head and continued to read his book. Not even five minutes later he slammed his book shut. Kurapika stood up and walked out of the room, "Leorio can you tell your friends to keep it down please? I'm trying to do something."

Leorio looked up at Kurapika, "Hey baby, we were just talking about you." Kurapika looked around at the people in his living room, "Yeah, okay. Are you guys drunk?"

Leorio shrugged, "Eh, I had like a can or two." He paused, "Maybe three."

Kurapika bent down to pick up some beer bottles of the ground, "Well maybe next time after those three, you could pick them up." Kurapika sarcastically smiled and went into the kitchen to throw away the cans.

Kurapika shut the door as Leorio's friends left the apartment, "Leorio you need to understand that you're not the one in charge here." Kurapika turned around to look at Leorio who was on the couch.

Leorio laughed, "Grab me a cigarette, they're on the TV stand." Kurapika sighed, "Fine but only because you're drunk."

"Or is it because you like being bossed around?" Kurapika rolled his eyes and grabbed a cigarette and handed it to Leorio, "Do you have a lighter?" Leorio nodded, "It's in my pocket."

Kurapika turned around, "I'll be in our room." Kurapika patted Leorio's shoulder, "Goodnight babe." Leorio sighed and grabbed Kurapika's hand, "Stay."

Kurapika shook his head, "Leorio, let go of my hand." Leorio pouted, "Stay here, please." Kurapika smiled, "Okay I will."

Kurapika walked around the couch and stood in front of Leorio holding his hands, "You should get some rest." Leorio pulled Kurapika onto his lap, "I don't want to." Kurapika let go of Leorio's hands and put his hand on his cheek, "Let's go to bed."

"No, I wanna stay up till three am with just you."

Kurapika frowned, "We need to get some sleep, it's already eleven at night and you have to work tomorrow." Leorio ran his fingers through Kurapika's hair, "I can call off, my job isn't that important."

"Leorio you're a doctor, you save lives."

Leorio shook his head, "I know but, I wanna do things with you. You can wake me up if you aren't tired in the morning." Kurapika looked down, "Leo-"

"Kurapika, please Sunshine. We don't have to do anything-"

"Did you even light your cigarette?"

"No, grab my lighter it's in-" Kurapika handed him his lighter than climbed off Leorio's lap, "Goodnight Leorio. See you soon."

Leorio lit his cigarette, "Goodnight Kurapika."
