Leorio POV
Gon pointed to the top of the tree, "Killua, look how big the star is!" Killua looked up in amazement, "Wow! It's bigger than the tree at my house!" Alluka grabbed Killua's arm, "It is isn't it big brother!"
Kurapika leaned down to their height (which wasn't that far) and smiled, "It does look pretty cool doesn't it?"
I chuckled at the four of them, they were all so happy to see a dumb old tree in Rockefeller. Gon jumped up and down and pointed again, "I wonder how many people it took to put the lights on! Do you guys think Santa puts gifts under this tree?" Alluka and Killua shrugged still looking at the tree in awe.
Kurapika looked up at me with an innocent face, "I don't know.... Leorio what do you think?"
I shrugged, "He might. I mean this tree is for all of York New, not just one family."
Kurapika smiled and looked back at the four kids, "I think he does. Like gifts for the mayor and city council members. Maybe police officers and firefighters!"
Gon looked up, "I want to be a police officer if a hunter won't work."
I sharply inhaled, "Yeah....no. I don't think so, that's really not a good idea." Gon frowned, "Do you think my life will be in danger? Because it won't! I survived the hunter exam and Heaven's Arena!"
I shook my head, "You'll understand eventually." Alluka looked confused before turning her head back to the tree.
Gon looked back up at the tree, "Do you think Santa helped put the tree up? Like Christmas spirt?" Kurapika shook his head, "I don't think so. No one has ever seen him! Why would he show himself now?"
Gon rolled his eyes, "Kurapika, for Christmas of course. And people have seen him." Alluka nodded in agreement, "I saw him once. He was as tall as my dad."
Kurapika's eyes filled with wonder, "Really?" Gon nodded, "Mhm, there are YouTube videos about it!"
Kurapika looked so cute, I can't.
Kurapika looked at me excited, "He is real! I was doubting it but I'm right! Leorio he exists!" My heart melted at his expression, "I know he does Kurapika, and trust me he'll bring you a lot of gifts."
Kurapika hugged me, "Do you think we can find someone to take a picture of us?" I shrugged, "Maybe."
We eventually did, they were a photographer and took a picture of all five of us. That picture is now on the TV stand at the apartment, it was perfect there. It would look even better on a TV stand of a real house though, but that can wait till Christmas. Kurapika's going to love his gifts.
