Kurapika POV

"Leorio," I whispered, "are you awake?"

"Mhm, what do you need?"

"I want you to hold me."

He turned over, "Why?" I shrugged, "I'm cold. Also the movie we watched was scary."

He laughed, "Was it?"

I nodded, "Yeah. I don't really like dolls, they're creepy."

"Alright, come here."

I moved closer to him and smiled as I felt him wrap his arm around my waist, "Feel better?"

"Warmer, just a tiny bit scared still. Can I lay on top of you?"

He nodded, "Yeah sure."

I climbed on top of him and laid down, "Thank you Leorio."

"No problem Sunshine."

We were silent for a bit before Leorio spoke up, "What else scares you?"

I shrugged, "Clowns, spiders, being alone in the dark, basically that stuff. I'm not afraid of being alone or the dark but put it together and it's terrifying. Oh I'm also afraid of green jelly."

He chuckled, "Why are you afraid of green jelly?"

"It looks like snot and snot is gross and just-" I made a gagging noise.

"I get that....a bit."

"What are you afraid of?"

"Sudden noises and movements, rain, bees, and being forgotten."

"Mine are so basic then you have the last one which probably had some deep meaning to it." I groaned.

He chuckled at me, "Maybe it does. Who knows." He kissed my forehead, "Goodnight Sunshine."

I smiled, "Goodnight Leo.

"Don't be afraid okay? I'm here to protect you, forever and always."
