Leorio POV

Kurapika giggled as I walked inside, "Leorio, the kids aren't home~"

I took my coat off and glanced at him, "Did you start drinking the champagne without me Kurapika?"

"Maybe~"

I laughed, "Alright, where's the bottle babe?"

"Are you really going to drink before twelve? Leorio it's New Year!" He smiled, "Just wait a bit."

"How much did you have to drink?" I laughed sitting beside him.

"Mmm, a bit~" He sat up, "How was work?"

I undid my tie and set it on the table, "Fine, how was your day?"

"Painful~" He leaned back and sighed, "I missed you all day."

"I missed you too." I kissed his forehead, "I'm gonna get you some water and myself some champagne."

I took another sip of champagne and laughed, "Okay so you're saying that I was your first boyfriend?"

"Yes!" Kurapika laughed, "I also lost my virginity to you too, I couldn't find anyone like at all I wanted to date. I didn't even want to date you a first but the hotel changed my mind."

"Wow! So you only fell in love with me for my body?"

He laughed again, "No! It was for everything about you. You were funny, kind, annoying as hell, handsome, and a big dick." He took another sip of his drink.

Kurapika pointed at the TV, "Oh-oh! Leorio television! The ball is about to drop, turn it up!"

I turned up the volume on the TV and glanced over at him, "Ya know in Spain my family did this thing, which everyone in Spain did, but we swallowed twelve grapes for every stroke of the clock to represent the New Year, if you swallowed you grape on time that means luck for that month of the year."

"That's a sweet thing- Oh! Count down with me!" Kurapika took another sip of his champagne, "Five! Four! Three! Two! One!"

At the stroke of twelve, Kurapika kissed me and I kissed him back.

"Happy New Year Leorio," Kurapika said.

"Happy New Year Sunshine, I love you."

"Aw, I love you too-" Kurapika looked at my shoulder, "What's this?"

"Oh, just another tattoo, no biggie."

"What is it?"

"Oh, well," I unbuttoned my shirt a bit and pulled the side down, "It's a butterfly, it's juvenile but it was my mamá's favorite 'animal', I got it a few years after she was deported. I was pretty young, around sixteen, but it means a lot to me."

"Aw...that's sweet."

"Yeah..." I smiled, "I have an idea!"

"What?"

"Let's go clubbing!"

"Clubbing?"

"Yes come on! Let's get ready!"
