Sick Days

Kurapika's POV

I grabbed the table to keep myself from falling, "Fuck. Leorio, can you grab me a glass of water. And a wet paper towel."

Leorio stood up and sighed, "Kurapika I don't think you should be up. You seem really sick." He grabbed my hand and walked me to the couch.

I shook my head, "I feel fine just a bit hot."

"Kurapika it's twenty two degrees outside, fahrenheit." I leaned back, "I'm fine, honestly." Leorio held the paper towel on my head, "I'm taking you to bed to get some rest." I groaned as he picked me up.

I rested my head on his shoulder, "Can you get me some soup?"

"I thought you were fine?"

"You're the one bringing me to the bed." He frowned, "Because you looked tired, but yes. I'll get you some soup."

I sat sideways on Leorio's lap as he played with my hair, we were watching a movie. I had on Leorio's hoodie and my short shorts. Leorio was only wearing his jeans.

"Leorio?"

"Hm?"

"I think I'm going to pass out."

Leorio looked at me, "Take some deep breaths and sit down with your heads between your knees. I'll get you some water."

Leorio ran into the kitchen as I got put my head in between my knees. Moments later he came back with a water bottle, "Here, drink this."

I took a sip of the water and he sat beside me, "Kurapika, sweetheart, you should get some rest. I don't want you to get sicker." He frowned.

I giggled, "I won't. Don't worry, I'll get some rest though. I just wanna be comfortable."

He smiled and laid down, "Do you want to continue the movie?" I nodded and took another sip of my water.

Leorio rolled oh his side and looked at me, "Put the hood on."

"Why?"

"Just do it." I put the hood on my head and immediately Leorio looked as if he melted, "You are so cute! Come here!" I crawled over to Leorio and sat down.

He smiled and sat up, "I'm guessing you want Oreo?" I nodded, "Yes please." Leorio sighed and went into the living room.

I laid down looking at the ceiling and making designs out of the cracks. I looked beside me at my nightstand. It had books, my earrings, a picture of Gon; Killua; Leorio; and I, and the medicine Leorio gave me earlier.

Leorio walked back into the room holding the kitten, "Here." He gave Oreo to me and sighed. I hugged the kitten and brightly smiled at Leorio, "Thank you."

He looked away blushing a bit, "Yeah yeah, whatever. Now move so I have room." I moved to the other side of the bed letting Leorio lay down. After he laid down I put my head on his chest and Oreo climbed out of my arms making his new resting spot Leorio's stomach.

Leorio played the movie and I looked up at him, "Thank you for caring for me."He kissed my nose, "I'll always take care of you."
